I love them. I get just as much out of a good game as I do a good movie or a good book. I saw this trailer today for a game called “Dead Island”. The emotional tenor and content of the trailer was striking. I actually got a little emotional. I make an argument all the time for video games as art and this is what I mean. Check out the trailer and see what I’m talking about. It’s only about 3 minutes long but it’s full of story and immense pathos, and I’d like to know how you felt immediately after watching it. Just a social experiment I;d like to conduct, if you’d indulge me:
