Prejudice and Racism

Youth arrest is a new form of Jim Crow without the masked riders in the middle of the night with torches — the use of the judicial system to negate any progress or potential progress of young Black children.
We are living in a world that has gone completely bonkers. How else can you explain what happened to a nine-year-old Black girl who was doing something good for her neighborhood only to have the police called on her because some old Geezer saw “A little black woman walking and spraying something on the trees and sidewalk, I don’t know what she’s doing, but it scares me though.”
In his concurrence on Students For Fair Admissions, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote, “In the wake of the Civil War, the country focused on restoring the Union and establishing the legal status of newly freed slaves.” Interesting phrasing by Thomas. It...
The freedmen were not really free in 1865, nor are most of their descendants really free in 1965. Slavery was but one aspect of a race and color problem that is still far from solution here, or anywhere. For Tucker Carlson, it was never about imparting the truth. As his high school friend told a reporter, “He saw Tucker making the pragmatic decision to follow a business model that made his conservative media counterparts a lot of money.”
It’s obvious what rankles Ms. Salinis; she is an illiterate troglodyte who couldn’t handle seeing a young Black female reciting a poem of hope for this country. In the statement Payton Gendron read, he said; “That day (May 14, 2022), I made a horrible mistake. I killed individuals by shooting them because they were Black." This is an affront to the relatives of those he murdered! No, Payton Gendron, you didn’t make a mistake. You deliberately set out to kill as many Black people as you could.
Kanye lost his touchstone when his mother died of surgery complications, and losing her, shattered him. It appears he started slowly spiraling out of control. His wife Kim may have filled that gap and stemmed the downward spiral, but their divorce has placed him back on a path of self-destruction.
All that the GOP uses anymore in elections are lies and propaganda to create fear or anger in voters. What are the issues that Herschel Walker is running on? Werewolves vs. vampires? Legalizing Russian Roulette? Making abandoning children a competition in the Guinness Book of World Records (look out Elon, he's coming for you!)?
