The 4th Democratic debate takes place tonight in Ohio and as usual, PlanetPOV will be hosting a live chat to accompany it. Everyone is invited to join in and share their thoughts throughout the debate.

John Lennon's birthday was this week so our music thread is dedicated to him and of course his band that changed everything, The Plastic Ono Band. Or The Beatles too.

The theme for this weekend’s music thread is about food (including im-peaches and just desserts) and drinks (that go down easy like Trump will).

"Okay, I'm the Beast From the Abyss, the man of sin, the son of perdition but I am not a witch and the Democrats' impeachment is a witch hunt," Trump declared as his hair smoldered from Satan's fiery chuckles.

Trump's goin' down! So the theme for this weekend’s music thread is law and crime, just desserts and paying a price.

This wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back, it was a two ton girder of betrayal and abuse of power that squashed the camel flat. The American people, were so outraged that Trump's continued freedom to destroy our democracy unfettered and the status quo that Speaker Nancy Pelosi has tried to sustain to avoid impeachment, were no longer acceptable.

To remind folks of the “wag the dog” scenario, where a president starts a bogus war to boost his re-election chances, this weekend’s music theme is about dogs that wag, cats that purr, American eagles that fly and songs about any and all animals.
