An Impeachment Inquiry Committee will provide a body charged with coordinating efforts to seek documentation, to question witnesses, to do independent investigation and do their best to keep putting it in front of people as part of the drive to the 2020 campaign. I have to relate a little story to you all. I have a British friend who, when the TLB was running for prez, was all for him, because she believed he would “straighten out” the immigration “problem.” I tried telling her he was a liar, con man, etc., but she thought that he would stop “illegals” from coming in. Last week,she and her husband became American citizens. I called her to congratulate her, and she told me, “I’m so glad to become an American citizen so that I can VOTE this arsehole out of office! glenn – An impeachment inquiry does take a long time anyway, especially with all the breaks Congress takes and all the campaigning they will be doing. I think the process would naturally run close to the election and that shouldn’t make Dems not pursue it fully. I wouldn’t suggest intentionally stalling it though because that could undermine the credibility of impeachment and expose it as just an election year stunt. AdLib 4 hours ago

Limit terms to 10 years, enforce ethical standards and complaints that could be cause for removal, require hearings for all nominees and end the concept that there is any time limit on when a nominee can be submitted or approved.
