A friend sent me a still photo of my first appearance on Television in 1958. It was St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. My dad was the subject of ‘This Is Your Life’ on the BBC.
I was 12 at the time and secrecy was enormous so Dad wouldn’t get wind of it. So the story is here:
