I just wrote a comment on this in Short Posts but a pundit on MSNBC said this today and I think it’s 100% right, the truth is that they really aren’t any undecided voters out there to be convinced by the conventions, aside from confirming what they want to see confirmed. The polling came out today, Biden still ahead nationally by 13. The majority will not be changing their minds to vote for Trump, we all know who he is after almost 4 years. We will see if this proposition is correct, that there really aren’t many undecided voters, if polls show Biden ahead by around 9 points or better next week. It will be highly unusual for a candidate not to get a meaningful bump after their convention and often, that is their highest point in the campaign.
