The terrible news of the white supremacist mass shooting in El Paso today has put a pall over the weekend but the images of El Paso folks standing in lines to donate blood and being there to help their grieving neighbors however they can offers a small bit of solace.
People are generally good and kind, especially when they see others are suffering and such displays of humanity remind us that despite all the hate we see too much nowadays, people really do care about each other.
This weekend’s music thread is about affirming the goodness in people, their caring, being kind and gentle and sharing compassion and love with each other.
Now it’s your turn to send out songs of compassion, caring and humanity to El Paso and the rest of the world.
Simply beautiful.
