Big win for humanity!

Hey Funk!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hi, Funk! Hi 683
pinkpantheroz
Welcome Guest 683!
AdLib 2 hours ago
oops…. was it something I said?
pinkpantheroz
Sure looks like Repubs want Dems to take over Congress next year!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Is Kushy Kushy Koo the next to go?
pinkpantheroz
I think so, probably why Trump is trying to move so quickly in attacking Mueller and the FBI.
AdLib 2 hours ago
I see you’re in the DMZ, Funk!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Yes, it seems like a tsunami of crap is headed Mueller’s way. Shows he’s doing a good job.
pinkpantheroz
Just visiting I assure you. The wi-fi here is great here
funksands
Funk, is Wi-fi a problem in your area?
pinkpantheroz
If Trump tries to take out Mueller, the streets will fill up with protests around the coountry and Dems will win massively in 2018. They just have to run on stopping Trump.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey Funk…can you see Kimmy from your porch?
AdLib 2 hours ago
He’s making me a mojito right now!
funksands
The Republicans must be very nervous the closer it gets to mid-term. Can the Dems maintain the rage and sceeer?
pinkpantheroz
He makes a mean Dennis Rodman.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey Pink congrats on Australia joining the marriage equality club!
funksands
Oh, funk! You’re really at THAT DMZ?
pinkpantheroz
Dennis Rodman: Bottle of cheap gin with a nose ring at the bottom
funksands
PPO – With Trump in the WH, maintaining rage is no problem.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Uh…yeah!! Totally!
funksands
Saw Rodman on Colbert – couldn’t understand a bloody word.
pinkpantheroz

PPO – You always have to check out Funk’s location, it’s always clever.

Thanks, funk about marriage equality. Enough people shouted away the looney religious bleaters. to get it in. Great
pinkpantheroz
So…do you think Trump will try to fire Mueller?
AdLib 2 hours ago
Ad, OoooooK
pinkpantheroz
funny Drumpf saying he is going back to ‘Merry Christmas. Rest of Family photo: HAppy Holidays! you can’t make this stuff up.
pinkpantheroz
Probably. When someone from his family gets threatened with prosecution.
funksands
PPO – It’s almost as if Trump is a moron.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Talking about Stuffups, what about her nibs being escorted out of the WH? Fact or FakeNews?
pinkpantheroz
Captain Sundowner is just trying to make it through the day. Let’s not tease him too much
funksands
Ad, gives morons a bad name.
pinkpantheroz
Omartossa? Just a trial run for when Trump is arrested.
AdLib 2 hours ago
WOuld pay a lot to see that!
pinkpantheroz
What was her job again? I’ve never been able to figure it out
funksands
Yeah, do unto others as they would do unto you. Oh…then we really should be calling Trump a douche.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Funk – Assistant to the Assistant Assistant of Assisting Assistance.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey how about a hand for Doug Jones? I was pleasantly surprised on Tues! We even had champagne. When someone as odious as Moore gets embarrassed like that its time for a celebration
funksands
Communications Director – of what, no one knows. Token African-American stooge and puppet, happy to do it for the prestige. Kicked back when fired ( she oughta be used to that from Drumpf by now
pinkpantheroz
I wouldn’t mind having that job. Sounds pretty easy
funksands
I was really hoping Jones could win, that conscience would be enough but the black vote pushed him oover the top.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Well Done, Doug. Stayed out of the gutter and did well. Cheers to the AfAM voters . Boos to the stupid White Women who voted for Moore-on
pinkpantheroz
With her gone, is Undersecretary Meatloaf next??
funksands
But if Moore woon as I thught he probably would, it would so destroy the GOP it could have been worth it. But I’m glad Jones won instead.
AdLib 2 hours ago
MAybe Dennis?
pinkpantheroz
can alabama be forced to seat Doug soon?
pinkpantheroz
I hit on an interesting thought that I’ll run by you both (disclosure I suspect we are all white males). The reason a majority of white women continue to vote for anti-women candidates like T***p and Moore is because they view their “white” as more valuable than the “woman” part of their identity when it comes to voting behavior. What do you think?
funksands
PPO – Turns out that non-evangelical white women went to Jones in a big majority. So the overall percentage of white women voting for a pedophile is misleading. Only those most fervantly following Jesus supported child molestation.
AdLib 2 hours ago

AdLib 2 hours ago

funksands
Hi folks.
MurphTheSurf3
Hey Murph!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Heh!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Funk, you could be right. Also, so many people vote Party no matter what. There will always be True Blue and feral Red voters, so I suppose that the best result was that many Red Voters just didn’t show up.
pinkpantheroz
Hi Murph, how are things?
funksands
I’ll take “Dispirited White Nationalists” for $400 Alex
funksands
Hi Murph! How’s the family?
pinkpantheroz
Funk – I think you’re right, it’s all about race-first for the white women in AL. Though as I mentioned, only a majority of evangelical white women voted for Moore so add the racism in religion into the mix.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Guess where I was last Tuesday. I and five other “old hands” went to Alabama a week ago Tuesday to help with the Get Out the Vote Effort. I was privileged to work with a half dozen black community organizers and proudly wore my “Obama Staff” Button as my “credential”.
MurphTheSurf3
Black voters were the key to the win. In a state where voting can be made very difficult by those in power for the powerless where getting a large turnout, especially in the black community, is extremely difficult…..the NAACP did an extraordinary job of raising awareness, energizing voting blocs, challenging those who tried to keep black voters from casting a vote and pushing the voters to the polls in numbers that were as large as those that supported Barack Obama. I was invited to volunteer by a friend who I worked with in 2008 and 2012. She is a wonderful woman, a pastor, a civil rights advocate and an exemplary patriot. My hat is off to her and those who turned apathy into wild excitement. I had volunteered to work the state phone bank from home in Missouri. The invitation was a real challenge to me….a call to really step up. I am glad I did.
MurphTheSurf3
Interesting to think that the control of the Senate is now viewed as a 50/50 proposition even with the Dems defending so man seats!
funksands
Funny how the White Supremacists/Nazis have wriggled back under their rocks. Is Trump too batshit crazy, even for them?
pinkpantheroz
Well, Well done, Murph!
pinkpantheroz
Murph, I am proud of you for doing that. I admire you putting your money where you mouth is
funksands
I have to say that I had a good time.
MurphTheSurf3
That is extremely cool, Murph! What a victory all of this brought about, historic!
AdLib 2 hours ago
And I still completed my quota of 50 Obamacare signups here in Mo….a robust response is what we got as a whole.
MurphTheSurf3
Take a bow, Murph. You were a big part of it.
pinkpantheroz
PPO…a small part really…but it felt like 2008.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph, let’s hope that that feeling extens to 2018 and gets even bigger
pinkpantheroz
Ad…thank you…..echoes of 2008…..I know people in the Dem national call center and they pushed on me.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph that’s good to hear. Enthusiasm is so important for turnout
funksands
Funk – Typically in an off year election, the party out of power does pretty well maintaining the seats they hold and usually picks up more seats. With the win in AL, it’s now clear Dems could win far bigger even in red districts and states than previously hoped.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Funk…thank you…..a real privilege and to be standing there when our man took the stage was electric. I stayed with a black family in a poor neighborhood….loved it.
MurphTheSurf3
it will be hard to maintain the push, but we can do it. Keep on Trump’s failures.
pinkpantheroz
Murph – The more people in Obamacare, the greater the pushback when Repubs damage it, as they’re about to do again in the tax fraud bill.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Murph – AL just tore the floor out from under the GOP, no surprise Ryan is probably not running next year, he knows Dems are going to take over.
AdLib 2 hours ago
How do we stop the padding of ignorant RWNJs on judicial benches?
pinkpantheroz
Ad….The Children’s Health Insurance Program has expired. There is already a crisis in Mo over this…no extra cash to cover the gap. Cuts in Obamacare, cuts in Social Security, cuts in Medicare, cuts in Medicaid. Attacking the FBI while undermining Mueller himself…there is nothing will not do.
MurphTheSurf3
This chart shows how enthusiastic Dems are this election cycle
funksands
Wow, funk
pinkpantheroz
Funk…great chart….
MurphTheSurf3
Yep, every race is being contested this year. While I have a concern that the DNC will be able to meet the demand, no one is waiting for them to figure it out
funksands
PPO – Not a lot we can do to stop the court packing until after the 2018 election. But when Dems take over everything in 2020, hope there will be impeachments of those judges as they act improperly.
AdLib 2 hours ago
That chart is insane, Funk! Can’t depend on the DNC, hope folks donate to local candidates.
AdLib 2 hours ago
OK, Ad. Wondered how a curb could be put on them. Shouldn’t take long!
pinkpantheroz
Too bad McConnell isn’t up this year, I think he’d be crushed.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Ad, Maybe Mueller can help there!
pinkpantheroz
But Ryan probably won’t run and if he does, I like the Dem challenging him to beat him.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Ryan’s gotta go! Slug
pinkpantheroz
One can hope that the when the Dems have power again that they don’t make the same mistake Obama made and bring an etiquette book to a knife fight
funksands
PPO – Sure would slow many bad things down if Trump is tied up in criminal indictments.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Going to be a lot of retirements in the GOP this year. Time to cash in
funksands
Even those forced to resign due to sexual harassment will land lucrative lobbying gigs for the firms that they helped with the tax bill and other regulatory cuts
funksands
funk, true about knife fight. Problem is, does anyone see a crotch-kicking candidate on the Dem’s side yet?
pinkpantheroz
Funk – Damn straight! However, I think that whoever the Dem nom is against Trump will have to be an aggressive person who campaigns on quickly reversing all the Trump and GOP damage to our country and democracy. The Dem will have a mandate, I’m confident about that, to get down to business quickly.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Will Trump order Rosenstein to fire Mueller???? Cause????
MurphTheSurf3
Btw, there is rumbling that a huge leak of House members under investigation for harassment is coming in the next few days. Resignations may run in the teens (no pun intended)
funksands
Murph, Rosenstein has said that Mueller is the best man for the job.
pinkpantheroz
Pink, I think so. There are some non-traditional regular folks running for office that don’t seem shy about being assertive
funksands
PPO…so Rosenstein gets fired and Trump orders the AG to do it?
MurphTheSurf3
Funk, maybe so but as long as it means Dems take back Congress, so be it. The House and Senate can conduct real investigations, block any and all of Trump’s insanity and drive him insane enough, I hope, to jump off the roof of the WH.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Murph, if it happens, that’s how it will happen
funksands
funk…. there’ll be a lot of ‘bye Felicias’
pinkpantheroz
PPO – I think oonly critch-kicking candidates will be competitive. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders will run, others will have to match their aggressiveness or be eliminated.
AdLib 2 hours ago
crotch, that is.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Good riddance.
funksands
Ad, not that! He might damege the garden, or crack the concrete.
pinkpantheroz
I wish we had someone a bit younger to run for President, but the avg age of House and State candidates is encouraging
funksands
One of the strongest Dems in the area is going after a Congressman of long standing here by posting images of the properties he owns alongside his salary in the house and his fortunes prior to running for Congress. Not a match.
MurphTheSurf3
Seems like every one of the Virginia Dem Delegates elected recently were fresh-faced rosey-cheeked millennials or X-ers
funksands
I do wish Bernie would go away. He’s a vote taker with no hope of victory. ABB ANyone But Bernie
pinkpantheroz
Funk..another Saturday Night Massacre but this time the Congress is GOP….
MurphTheSurf3
Murph – I don’t know, would Trump follow in Nixon’s footsteps? A Saturday Night Massacre is exactly how to turn Congress and the public against him for good. And the Dem Congress elected in 2018 will impeach him.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Murph, that’s an excellent idea. Good strategy
funksands
Ad..for now he has a GOP congress……so?
MurphTheSurf3
SNM? Haven’t heard of that must look it up
pinkpantheroz
Can you imagine the explosion of natinwide protests and confrontations of Congresspeople if Trump fires Rosenstein and Mueller and others in the FBI? Our democracy will be at stake, the floodgates will open!
AdLib 2 hours ago
PPO….Nixon’s firing of a line of DOJ superiors to get rid of a Special Counsel….he kept firing until he found someone who would do it.
MurphTheSurf3
Oh, that. OK thanks
pinkpantheroz
Funk – I actually prefer a younger candidate who can compete with Sanders and Warren. Like bama, that person might come up out of relative obscurity.
AdLib 2 hours ago
With you on that, Ad. Ominous silence tonight from Twitter in chief. Wonder how his head is?
pinkpantheroz
Murph – MO is very red too but the blue wave next November will be a tsunami, maybe that Dem could do it by showing the corruption of the Repub.
AdLib 2 hours ago
I completely support what Sanders stands for and he has his finger on the pulse of what will help Dems win. I don’t think I can vote for him if he runs as a Dem again
funksands
I would support Warren in that role in a heartbeat though. Ad I agree completely about a younger candidate to push them in a primary. I am afraid that Biden is going to run though, which complicates things a lot. He’s old, a terrible candidate and has a very spotty legislative history. Good guy, lousy candidate to run
funksands
Ad…this guy is linking that property spotlight to the Tax Bonanza being provided to the rich by the GOP by showing images of the huge mansions in Newport RI suggesting that they are a step up the Congressman might be able to go for in the near future.
MurphTheSurf3
I respect your position, funk. Yes, if he runs, it shouldn’t be as a Dem. He criticizes them as much as the GOP. Not good for cohesion
pinkpantheroz
PPO – Bernie shouldn’t be the nominee in 2020 but in 2016, I think he would have been the one to beat Trump. That said, he did succeed in pulling Hillary towards the more Progressive positioons the country supports, if he helps to do that in 2020, the Dem who wins will be better off for it. But Bernie’s window is over, I don’t see him winning in 2020.
AdLib an hour ago
His running as a Dem was necessary in 2016. Critical. But to do it again in the same way in 2020? Bad idea and counterproductive.
funksands
Murph – As Trump nosedives in the polls along with Repub margins for 2018, I think Repubs could turn on him to try and save their seats.
AdLib an hour ago
ad..re. Bernie…agree….and I still consider his record of legislative action in the Congress….not a coalition builder.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad, that’s already occurring. The second this monstrous tax bill passes, the sneering and snickering will begin, followed by distancing and outright antipathy.
funksands
ad….i could see that happening…..esp. once the the bonanza bill has passed….Or they will grab for a golden ring as they exit the merry go round.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad, I wonder will the Repubs bother. The gerrymanders and sheep voting may still carry the day. Trump needs to be impeached or forced out before the next election.
pinkpantheroz
Funk – Do you mean you wouldn’t vote for Bernie in the primaries? There will be plenty of choices in 2020, it will probably be the biggest lineup we’ve ever seen!
AdLib an hour ago
I just wish all national platform Dems would attack this tax bill for what it is rather than what it is not. No one cares (nor should they) about the debt and deficit, instead this should be attacked for giving the rest of the $ of the nation to the people that already have all of it
funksands
Ad I wouldn’t vote for him
funksands
PPO…I continue to be stunned by a number of my neighbors who among those sheep……waiting in line to be sheared and slaughtered.
MurphTheSurf3
Excellent point, funk.
pinkpantheroz
I agree with Bernie, I just won’t vote for him as a Dem and it would take a special miracle of events to make me vote for him as an independent.
funksands
Funk….you do not consider the debt to be a threat I know. Can you give us the short skinny on why that is so.
MurphTheSurf3
Maybe if Fox News were somehow to be branded an enemy of the State and de-licenced, maybe sanity could come to Joe Sixpack America
pinkpantheroz
You mean the $20T National Private Sector Surplus? No I don’t consider that a bad thing.
funksands
Pink, they are just gonna have to die off
funksands
The well is poisoned.
funksands
PPO…more likely Fox will be named the Official State TV
MurphTheSurf3
True fnk
pinkpantheroz
I kind of like Biden but he’s too old school (and old) to win the nom. Warren has a built in base that was the engine behind Bernie, she’s tough and a fighter so I think she would be among the front runners. Most important thing though is not to have am establishment candidate who does the old school pol thing of trying to please everyone (like Hillary tried). The voters know that game too well and they don’t like it.
AdLib an hour ago
I would get behind Warren in a big way. If Warren Jr (whoever that is) ran, I’d be even more excited. I’m afraid that Booker will run though (gag)
funksands
Murph – I think that’s a smart line of attack. Trump is only increasing the economic inequality in the cuntry and that could be the best line of attack with Republicans.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad, the Dems need more than merely GOP bashing to win. Positive mandates, Aggressive advertising and GOTV rallies should be starting right the hell now
pinkpantheroz
The Dems could run an entire national campaign for the next 4 years: “The GOP is for 1 thing only: Funneling your $ and political power into the hands of fewer and fewer people”. If they stuck with it I think they’ succeed.
funksands
I think the Dems should run on tax cuts. Seriously.
funksands
Ad..I keep thinking of that couple in the small market who were both working two jobs, having their kids watched by a grandparent, and still needing SNAP (food stamps) to just make it….as they drove away I noted their Romney bumper sticker. Want to bet that this last go around they had one for Trump?
MurphTheSurf3
Tax cuts, restoring clean air, water and facilities, kill Citizens United and putting people in jail!
pinkpantheroz
Funk…I like your campaign theme line.
MurphTheSurf3
For the record, I do disagree that Bernie should not run as a Dem. His policies are all Dem policies and he fits in perfectly with the Dem Progressive movement. His not being a Dem is irrelevant to me, if we’re more about the right person, it shoouldn’t matter. That said, I don’t want him to be the candidate, he dooes have enough baggage now and so many Hillary supporters would become adversarial, can’t bring the party together through Bernie so it shouldn’t be him. We need everyone to come together.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad…..Wholeheartedly agree.
MurphTheSurf3
The Bernie “wing” and Hillary “wing” each think they can do it without the other. *sigh*
funksands
Sadly, Ad, you’re right.
pinkpantheroz
Well, folks, time for my afternoon trip to the shops. Lovely 28C day sun shining. See you all next week
pinkpantheroz
Funk…what was interesting in AL was a theme – party labels do not matter….what is the person running for, who are they for, and what will they do for us….not the party they are associated with.
MurphTheSurf3
PPO….take good care.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph – Bottom line, in 2016, Bernie was the Dem candidate who was best positioned to beat Trump due to his authenticity on the economic inequality issues. But 2020 will be different, it’s not going to be his time to win the nom running a deja vu campaign. We need someone who’s fresher and doesn’t come with 2016 baggage.
AdLib an hour ago
“Hi I’m your local Democratic candidate for Congress. I’m going to vote for biggest national infrastructure project in the history of the world, a cut in FICA tax, and a goat-funded solar panel on every roof in America. Im also going to break up Comcast, end baggage fees as well.”
funksands
Ad…agreed…..but who?
MurphTheSurf3
*govt*
funksands
Funk – So if it was Bernie vs. Trump, you wouldn’t vote for Bernie?
AdLib an hour ago
Oh for god’s sake Ad. Seriously?
funksands
Funk……and how many will be pissed off at that message automatically and how will it be spun? as much as I like it I have learned that the GOP is very good at making gold look like goo.
MurphTheSurf3
Seriously though, Dems should really run as the anti-corruption party. It is the #1 concern of most Americans and after the next couple of years they will be starving for that message. They really do want someone to “Drain the Swamp”. That can be a very compelling message.
funksands
Funk, with you on Booker. He is a DLCer, a corporate Dem who is constantly engaged in PR to build his image, very inauthentic on the issues he tries to be authentic about. He won’t win the nom but he’s running.
AdLib an hour ago
Any thoughts on Net Neutrality?
MurphTheSurf3
Funk – That’s a god theme. I think by Noov 2018, just running on a platform of “We will stop Trump from further destroying everything you care about!” will be enough.
AdLib an hour ago
Murph, I think the state lawsuits against it has legs. It may be delayed for some time.
funksands
One of the people I worked with closely in Al was a 74 year “old soldier” from the Civil Rights Movement…she kept saying over and over again…”My kids understood less than I did, and their kids knew even less, and so….how do people reject what they do not understand….” She noted that the 30 percent turnout was good but where were the missing 70? Too dumb to realize how much their votes count.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph, that is a depressing anecdote
funksands
Murph – By 2020, people will be so suffering under the economic oppression the Tax Fraud Bill causes, people will be desperate to put Dems in to reverse it. None of Trump’s promises about how great things will be will have come true, he will be seen by the holdouts as betraying them.
AdLib an hour ago
Funk….my internet provider has made a solemn promise not to engage in any action that creates different classes of users. This may just be a marketing ploy but I like the company.
MurphTheSurf3
Funk…yes….she also had hard words about the disintegration of social structures in black communities.
MurphTheSurf3
Funk – Yes, we need a trustbuster as a Dem nominee, who will smash up the monopolies.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad…..I point back to the anecdote about the pervasiveness of dumbness.
MurphTheSurf3
Murph, the challenge is that the big companies simply can’t abide by that promise. They are competing against the very companies that their customers are using on their lines. Comcast for example has its own streaming service. They’d be stupid not to throttle Netflix or ask for a fee for access while they provide it as part of a package
funksands
Funk – I do think the lawsuits against the FCC ruling will succeed, there is nothing about it that is in the public interest and that is their charge, not making corporations wealthier.
AdLib an hour ago
Funk…good points.
MurphTheSurf3
Ad, that also will be a winning message. Anti-trust is a secret weapon I hope the Dems use

Because the GOP will adopt it if they don’t

Well…I am heading for the door……shortly….there is a lot of talk that the Trump admin will move on the Special Counsel during the Christmas season….fewer paying attention and less exposure with Congress out of town.

Murph – I see that as a glass half full story, after the AL victory, I think many of those who didn’t vote now see that their vote could really matter.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad, sadly it will depend on what judge hears the case. I expect it to go to the Supreme Court next year and THEN Net Neutrality will end….for now

Night Murph, it was great seeing you

Murph – All the prviders now promising to respect Net Neutrality all funded the lobbying to get it overturned. Don’t believe them!
AdLib an hour ago
Ad….I suggest that most of those who did not vote still do not know there was an election or if they do…that it mattered.
MurphTheSurf3

Ad…also a good point.

Murph – I think that’s a possibility but if Trump tries to fire Mueller, the blowback will drwn Trump.
AdLib an hour ago
There is going to be a bonanza of municipalities starting up their own municipal fiber-optic systems. Hundreds will get it done before the lobbyists catch up and convince red state legislatures to outlaw it

Funk…interesting idea….of course we in MO. will not benefit from such a move…..retrograde is built into the body politic here.
MurphTheSurf3

Funk – There are plain legal principles that will be hard to avoid seeing that make the FCC’s decision improper. I think the odds are good no matter the judge or SCOTUS.
AdLib an hour ago
Ad….I continue to be a cynic in re. to “public reaction.”
MurphTheSurf3

Murph, the tide will turn there. Maybe not for years, but it will turn. Good people like you will continue to turn the Titanic away from the ice before it sinks

Murph – I’m sure many remain ignorant about elections and government but it was big news and Moore was a major racist, I know many who didn’t vote had to hear about black people beating the racist.
AdLib an hour ago
And with that…I wish you both a very pleasant night…I am going to do a lot sleeping this weekend. I am buoyed by both of your stances: Courage! Time will bring change!

Ad, there is no way the current SCOTUS will find against the ISP’s. I would be shocked.

Nigh Murph!

Murph – Have you seen the anti-tax fraud protests? The Obamacare protests earlier in the year? The Women’s March? Trump’s firing Mueller wil cause the biggest of all protests.
AdLib an hour ago
I’m not far behind you.

Ad, I hope you are right. I’m sensing a lot of exhaustion on the demonstration front. Trump does one thing well and that is exhaust good people.
funksands
Funk – It won’t be a slam dunk but the SCOTUS didn’t kill Obamacare. I don’t think they’ll kill Net Neutrality.
AdLib an hour ago
I’ll share you optimism then.

There’s a bit of a recharge now with the AL win. Confidence. If Trump tries to destroy our system of justice, I do think the floodgates open.
AdLib an hour ago
A big protest is already scheduled in DC for the SOTU in Jan, if Trump fires Mueller, that may just come earlier.
AdLib an hour ago
People need to learn to pace themselves. If they knew what was good for them, they’d swear off social media and spend that time volunteering to help a local candidate!

Dems can feel the wave for 2018 building, the energy is rising now. Trump taking out Mueller would be lighting a fuse.
AdLib an hour ago
Good. Light it anyway
funksands

I have a nasty suspicion that the Mueller investigation isn’t going to do much to Trump and people are going to be very disappointed. He’ll emerge relatively unscathed. I just wish people wouldn’t pin their hopes on him
funksands

I agree about social media but we did see that it influenced millions in 2016 when the Russians used it. So it has its value but helping candidates is a better use of energy.
AdLib an hour ago
Well, Ad I have to toddle off. Have a great weekend. Good talking with you!
funksands

Maybe but I think Mueller has many angles on Trump obstructing justice and colluding with Russia. All he can do is refer the charges to Congress but when Dems take ver, they can impeach him.
AdLib an hour ago
Thanks pal! You and the family have a great weekend too!
