They should be writing letters to the chairmen of the respective committees, both in the House and Senate, to have trump brought before the committees and testify. Let trump set the date so he can’t weasel out of it. MAKE him testify. After all, Comey testified under oath and didn’t flinch; spoke in complete sentences, spoke calmly, sat straight and tall in his chair, and told the truth! Make trump do the same!

However, with this Congress, it doesn’t seem to matter if trump is up to his eyeballs in debt to Russians; they will say that it’s just “business”, not evidence of collusion. I think the best way is to make trump testify under oath, and then he can get nailed with lying to Congress. And, even with that, there’s no telling what this Congress will do. After eight years of denigrating PBO because he had no experience–despite being both a State and US Senator–the frigging hypocrites of Congress are now excusing trump’s obstruction of justice as his lack of experience. My belief: That Trump was made possible by the overt racism Barack Obama was subjected to from day 1.Through his whole Presidency.It gave permission to an ugly extreme of America to grow and fester.Think about it

Of course we agree on this. It’s the legacy I mentioned above, and it is THE most pernicious aspect of American history and politics. Trump voters very clearly were voting RACE. Not even economics since data show that HRC mostly got WWC but it is the stratum slightly to hugely ABOVE that who voted Trump. They SAY race is the issue even though she is white. They think they’re being left out which is clearly not accurate, but race is a powerful mythology that is not easy to change. I think you are spot on.

I once lived briefly next to the Abbey Road studio at the famous crossing. Every single night we’d hear wailing of fans mourning both Lennon and the breakup. Probablly high with 30% MORE than normal rain. Means all th brush is high and thick. Very worrisome.

In Sacramento we do get fires in the brush around the city, but the biggest problem is dense smoke from large fires many miles away. Can be seriously dangerous to those with lung problems.

This is true CL.You know how everyone is after the Alberta’s so called :Tar Sands”? First of all,tar is a man made product,it is actually called bitumen.You may be surprised to know that it is California Oil interests that are behind this dis information campaign.California has the same methods of extraction that Alberta uses,and one that Alberta doesn’t fracking.Google it

Part of the concern involves transport. Pipelines are dangerous but so are trains, and the ones carrying it now to our refineries in Richmond, north of San Francisco. come a block from my house. We are all aware of the horrible explosion in Quebec and don’t wish to experience it. So we fight on many levels.

Not sure why not. You’d think after NoDAP that would be a concern. Some are working on ending fracking here in CA, but I can’t answer that question.
