The Weekend Music Thread – Mini Themes

Welcome once again to the music thread! This weekend, I thought it would be fun for folks to create their own mini themed selections.

I used to love to make cassette tapes (I’m old) with a given theme. I would pick a song by a certain artist and then follow it with a song that played on the same subject or meaning, so the whole tape had one clear theme. It was a lot of fun and often a challenge to the old grey matter.

So, create your own mini theme by choosing a number of songs that deal with the same subject or meaning, all within one comment box. Three or four in each box would be good. Change your themes every time you start a new box. I hope you have fun and I’m looking forward to hearing some great themes/songs.
