Spring is putting the pedal to the metal in some parts of the world and people are getting into all sorts of machines to tool around it. So, I thought it might be a good time to pay a musical salute to motoring and traveling in general.
This week WMT’s suggested theme is motoring and tooling around. Cars, trains, boats, planes, cycles or whatever…if you have a tune that expresses that experience for you in a special way, or a piece of machinery you wish to pay homage to, this would be a great place to donate.
Mercury Blues ~ Steve Miller
Trains and boats and planes ~ Dionne Warwick
Air on a G string ~ Steve Morse
The love boat theme:
Every day I get in queue, to get on the bus that takes me to you….
The perfect male:
Daltrey’s brawn
Townshend’s brains
Moonie’s sense of humor
Entwistle’s height
The less than perfect male:
Townshend’s brawn
Moonie’s brains
Entwistle’s sense of humor
Daltrey’s height
Many great versions of this but this is my favorite
Do you have any?
