AdLib 2 hours ago
See ya then!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey Kes! Just emailing you!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hi glenn!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey, AdLib! At last we have something to celebrate! The crashing, exploding sound of Trumpcare blowing up!!
kesmarn

Hey, glenn, Fuzzy and PPO! Happy Friday!
kesmarn

Hey Folks! Que pasa?
Fuzzy Dunlop

Hey FD!
AdLib 2 hours ago
El Trumpo pasa!
kesmarn

Supp, Homie?
Fuzzy Dunlop

Hey Ad!
Fuzzy Dunlop

Good evening, all. Once again republicans have proved (proven) that they have no idea to govern. They only know how to destroy things–and they can’t even do that “right”. Love it!
glenn

Kes–it is indeed a happy Friday. The “deal maker” is a “shit maker”.
glenn

glenn, even Ryan had to admit that going from “opposition to governing” was too haaaaaarrrrrd!!
kesmarn

Well…shall we celebrate?!

AdLib 2 hours ago
Yeehaaaaaah!
kesmarn

The pubs are beginning to understand that their thievery will not stand with the American people. Mid-terms are around the bend.
Fuzzy Dunlop

AdLib 2 hours ago
Ryan is such a brown nosed Nelly!
Fuzzy Dunlop

Kes–I know, poor babies. They’re learning that old adage: “Be careful what you ask for.” And trump learned that health care is complicated, and legislating is even more so!
glenn

I called my (GOP — due to gerrymandering) Rep. today and politely told his office person what they could do with this health care bill.
kesmarn

Apparently they listened. LOL!
kesmarn

Kes–were you really polite?
glenn

I actually was, glenn. It was not easy. But I didn’t want to stoop to their level.
kesmarn

The failure of Trumpcare/Ryancare is pretty simple. Ryan, who is not as smart as he’s been portrayed, tried to force his Ayn Rand wet dream on a Coongress and country that didn’t want it. Hw is this surprising?
AdLib 2 hours ago
Tee Hee! how’s that ;Art of The Deal’ Primer working out, Creep in Chief?
pinkpantheroz

FD–not sure which one was the brown nosed nelly–trump or ryan, but the symbiosis blew up in both of their faces! Yea!
glenn

Kes – Next year, the gerrymandering might not even protect your rep!
AdLib 2 hours ago
I love how he STILL blames Democrats!
pinkpantheroz

I have to think that their field offices were totally flooded with calls from constituents. They don’t know much, but they do know when their jobs are threatened!
kesmarn

Ryan, for sure. His senior class voted him the brownest nose in the graduating class.
Fuzzy Dunlop

Well, good for you, Kes. It is important to not stoop to their level; I’m not sure any of us could stoop that low!
glenn

The smirks are definitely drooping even more tonight.
pinkpantheroz

AdLib, I’d love to see this Rep go. He slide into the job because his father had had it before him. Totally unqualified.
kesmarn

Blaming dems won’t fly for much longer. It their shit show now. All theirs!
Fuzzy Dunlop

PPO, they own both houses of Congress and the WH, and this is STILL all Obama’s fault!
kesmarn

Right, FD. This debacle is ALL GOP. NO Dems were consulted at all on drafting this shite.
pinkpantheroz

Homie, now I have “It’s a Real Mother…” playing in the background. Perfect.
kesmarn

PPO – So lame, Trump’s blaming Dems. Fact: Repubs have a 44 member advantage in The House, they didn’t need Dems AND they cut Dems out from the beginning. So lame of Trump, he is a LOSER!
AdLib 2 hours ago
PPO–well if you get right down to it, it was the Democrats’ fault. After all, they passed a bill that the majority of the citizens of the US like; so it IS their fault. Of course, trump doesn’t want to talk about how he has a super majority in the HOR, and still couldn’t get trump/ryancare passed.
glenn

HA! Glad you like it Homie! Great song, great production values!
Fuzzy Dunlop

Evening everybody! Hope all is well?
choicelady

AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey CL!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Hey, c’lady! So good to see you again. Is this not a great day?
kesmarn

Hey CL, how are you?
glenn

Hey CL! Glad to “see ya.”
Fuzzy Dunlop

Thanks for the reminder that it’s FRIDAY! I’m well – how is everyone?
choicelady

CL – I think we’re all doing great…as are a minimum of 24 million other Americans!
AdLib 2 hours ago
CL–doing well here. And can’t stop smiling over trump and ryan’s failure.
glenn

Doing well myself, but the dear old 94 year old Dad is keeping me busy these days. Haven’t been able to get to Vox as often as I’d like.

I really breathed a sign of relief for the homeless folks I help – lose Medi-Cal, lose their lives.
choicelady

Hi glenn – YES!
choicelady

Kes – Just glad you could make it tonight!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Kes – sorry your father is keeping you on the move so much, but at least he’s HERE with us all!
choicelady

So good to be here! And yes, CL — this was truly life-and-death for so many!
kesmarn

Fuzzy – you’re speaking Martian for some reason…
choicelady

CL–We all breathed a sigh of relief for our fellow citizens.
glenn

kes – I cannot fathom Ryan, even more the Drumpf, being HAPPY about taking health care away.
choicelady

glenn – AMEN!
choicelady

I don’t know if I can blame my machine, or my grey matter.
Fuzzy Dunlop

Kes–echoing Ad’s comment; glad you’re here tonight.
glenn

There is no end game for Ryan/Trump, no awareness of blowback. Had this passed, having a health care system reverting to a disaster and millions of Americans dying left and right isn’t a utopia that would reward the cruel people who created that future. How would that have helped them win re-election and retain power???
AdLib 2 hours ago
CL, Trump is no hero of mine, but for some Ryan I have a much more visceral dislike of Ryan. I think it’s partly because he has a reasonable amount of intelligence that he uses only to hurt people.
kesmarn

Homie is making a rare appearance.
Fuzzy Dunlop

HI Kes, cl, What a great day for ordinary people.
pinkpantheroz

Awww… you guys are good for a gal’s self-esteem!
kesmarn

FD – blame your computer. We’ll back you up!
choicelady

Blame Obama, Homie!
kesmarn

PPO – GREAT song – totally hadn’t thought of it in years. Very happy!
choicelady

Does any one else think Trump and president Bannon are gearing up for an apocalyptic war with Islam?
Fuzzy Dunlop

Sounds good to me Homie!
Fuzzy Dunlop

Homie, do you think it’ll be Iran or North Korea first?
kesmarn

CL–actually, I think it’s the opposite. Ryan has been trying to dismantle the social safety net for his whole career; so I don’t think it bothered him one bit that he was taking not only health care, but Medicaid and next Medicare away from millions of people. That’s been his whole “schtick” since he was elected. As for trump, he is just clueless, and jumps on any bandwagon that he thinks will make people “love” him.
glenn

Sad excuses for human beings, the lot of them
pinkpantheroz

BRB
pinkpantheroz

FD – yes, I do. But I know ONE thing from working w good military people against torture: the military has the OBLIGATION to refuse illegal and immoral orders. And the JCC has already met to say how, when, why.
choicelady

Good question. I thin N. Korea’s leader is just as unstable as Trump.
Fuzzy Dunlop

So, Trump’s major platforms were repealing the ACA, restricting Muslims from entering the country and building a massive wall on the border. This will be the biggest failed presidency in our lifetimes, maybe of all time!
AdLib 2 hours ago
glenn – I get Ryan LOVES ending gov’t roles in social programs as well as the programs. I just don’t get HOW YOU DO THAT as a human being.
choicelady

CL, seriously? Are you hearing the the JCC are discussing refusing orders? Good news.
kesmarn

Gotcha CL. I served with the USMC during the last days of the. Vietnam war
Fuzzy Dunlop

CL–true, I don’t get it, either. I’m not sure if he has actually convinced himself that taking those things away will make everything “better”, or if he is just a cruel and sadistic SOB!
glenn

kes – they HAVE to refuse illegal orders. That’s a post-WWII development written into their directives. No “just following orders” crap from the US. And just days after the Yam Man was elected, they were meeting to lay out parameters. They already HAD refused W’s torture dirctives. It’s in the Army Field Manual NOT to engage in that sort of work.
choicelady

Gotta love the way the GOP had no trouble voting 51 times to repeal Obamacare. Then suddenly… NO CAN DO! What has changed? No grownup in the Oval Office to veto.
kesmarn

glenn – Ryan is a cruel and sadistic SOB! Pretending to be Christian. You can imagine how that chaps my butt!
choicelady

CL and FD–as for the torture, Lindsey Graham said the other day, that if trump brings back torture, he’ll bring up impeachment proceedings. That would be interesting to see; because trump likes to play the tough guy, so torture is really not torture to him; it’s just a means to an end.
glenn

That’s interesting, CL. When you say that they’d refused W’s torture orders, does that mean they refused to go further in Gitmo at some point?
kesmarn

This administration wants a huge military and domestic police force. This is the administration of fear. BE AFRAID! WE’LL PROTECT YOU THOUGH!
Fuzzy Dunlop

Failure begets failure. After this 7-years-in-the-making massive failure, Repubs defeating themselves after 60 votes to repeal the ACA, how can Trump win on anything? BTW, got a good laugh, a superpac ran an BS ad promoting Americans supporting Trumpcare after it had already been defeated!
AdLib 2 hours ago
FD – in My Lai that issue came up about refusing illegal orders, and I recall a few mostly Black troops who did, one shot himself in the foot to avoid killing those people. And they were (eventually) exonerated based on the directives.
choicelady

I just love it when Super PACs waste money on useless ads.
kesmarn

kes – these were field officers and troops not, mostly, at Gitmo. CIA dark ops and CONTRACT people (Blackwater) did it, not our troops.
choicelady

Remember how Ryan was giggling in that interview aboout how this would be the first time Repubs destroyed an “entitlement”? Heh, who’s giggling now?!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Thanks for that clarification, CL!
kesmarn

I remember C Lady! That was one of the darkest events in American history. The madness of war.
Fuzzy Dunlop

Ad Lib – kes: I agre – GREAT wate of PAC money!!!
choicelady

FD–right–“we’ll protect you.” I also remember that one liner from the convention, “I alone can fix this.” How’d that work out today, trump?
glenn

I was so happy when the Kochs poured $12 million into defeating Sherrod Brown in Ohio and it didn’t work.
kesmarn

The superPAC had already bought the ad and couldn’t pull it! Heh!
AdLib 2 hours ago
glenn – now he’s pretending he didn’t say anything about repeal only to have every pundit, media person, and Tweeter, haul out the videos!
choicelady

This administration is a bunch of amateurs. The gang that couldn’t shoot straight!
Fuzzy Dunlop

“Rookies” as Nancy Pelosi said.
kesmarn

Brown is such a RW toadie.
Fuzzy Dunlop

kes – that “rookie” comment was about the meanest thing she could have said! LOL!!
choicelady

CL, Ad, ad Kes–I love to see those republican Super PACS wasting money. Less they have to spend on propping up repubs.
glenn

FD – SHERROD Brown is a RW toadie????? Seriously?
choicelady

And no way any infrastructure bill that is pro-Repub passes, only way is to compromise and include Dem desires.
AdLib 2 hours ago
Yes! CL, to guys who pride themselves on being alpha males, “rookie” was the perfect term.
kesmarn

cl……and incompetent rookies at that
pinkpantheroz

PPO – Yup. Sure showed their LACK of mettle. (Did I spell that correctly?_
choicelady

yup!
pinkpantheroz

CL–When will the press learn? If trump says he didn’t say it, and he BELIEVES he didn’t say it; then he didn’t say it, dontcha know?
glenn

And that superPAC ad was such a massive lie, happy talk about hoow everything would be sunshine and lollipops if it passed. Makes it even more satisfying!
AdLib 2 hours ago
Anyone been reading about this Robert Mercer — reclusive billionaire — who’s funding a lot of the far right? Strrrrange man!
kesmarn

glenn – Media are finally having fun jamming his past statements up his nose!
choicelady

kes – I am stunned I never heard of him before. Scary dude!
choicelady

Yes! Jane Mayer did her usual great job of exposing him and his awful daughter, Rebekah.
kesmarn

CL–and I’m having a lot of fun watching the media jam his asinine lies up his nose! Up his nose with a rubber hose?
glenn

About time the media cottoned on. Of course Shiteface will now whinge that the MSM is agin him, conveniently forgetting when they were all over him
pinkpantheroz

glenn – or some other part of his gross anatomy.
choicelady

CL Twice as far with a choclate bar!
pinkpantheroz

Has Nunes made it possible for an independent panel/proosecutor or will Ryan insist on an obviously corrupt Intel Panel headed by Nunes?
AdLib 2 hours ago
OK PPO – why do you Aussies and Brits spell “whine” that way? I keep rhyming it with “hinge”.
choicelady

sorry CL, my bad. I confused Brown with someone else.
Fuzzy Dunlop

I think there’s going to be a huge push for an independent panel now, AdLib.
kesmarn

Kes–missed the articles about Robert Mercer. And who is Jane Meyer? Can you tell me more?
glenn

FD – WHEW I was worried. I LOVE Sherrod Brown!
choicelady

Kes – But do you think the pressure is strong enough to push Ryan into approving an indie panel?
AdLib 2 hours ago
It is Whingeing here, even more irritating than a whine
pinkpantheroz

PPO – too funny that chocolate thing…
choicelady

yeah, he’s one of the good guys.
Fuzzy Dunlop

Jane Mayer did the original expose of the Koch brothers, glenn. I’ll try to get you the link to the Mercer article.
kesmarn

OK PPO – good point!
choicelady

Thanks, Kes.

The Reclusive Hedge-Fund Tycoon Behind the Trump Presidency
How Robert Mercer exploited America’s populist insurgency.

kesmarn

Trump’s budget is DOA. What do you think will happen with tax cuts? Slashing revenues and increasing the deficit? Will the Freedom Caucus support that?
AdLib 2 hours ago
AdLib – I read a tweet (no source) saying that both McConnell and Ryan are part of the IC investigation. So maybe he won’t go indie panel to saver his lilly white butt?
choicelady

Twitterverse is going nutzo happy!
pinkpantheroz

Ad–Hopefully, the Dems will keep pushing ryan to appoint an indie panel. Even McCain, and I think Graham have said that Nunes has totally compromised the investigation, and an independent panel should be appointed. Dems should keep up the pressure to get one appointed. After all, as repubs have said over and over again, if you have nothing to hide, then you should welcome an investigation.
glenn

Gotta go, folks. You crazy libs take care, eh?
Fuzzy Dunlop

Thanks for the article, Kes. I’ll read it after VOX.
glenn

The Old Guard GOP may be our saving – Graham and McCain both hate what Trump has done.
choicelady

Stay safe, Homie!
kesmarn

See ya, FD Have a good night
pinkpantheroz

Hey FD – lovely to see you – sweet dreams!
choicelady

‘Nite FD Take care.
glenn

glenn, the article is long, but a great read. She really does her homework.
kesmarn

kes – Meyrs is excellent on all she does.
choicelady

CL – That would be explosive! If it’s leaked that Ryan and McConnell are under investigation, neither could stop an independent investigation.
AdLib 2 hours ago
AdLib – I hope that’s true. They seem to have fallen into the “nothing we do is wrong” trap perhaps?
choicelady

CL–both McCain and Graham hate trump, too, not just what he has done.
glenn

Kes–looking forward to reading it.
glenn

glenn – I agree there’s not a shred of love for the Yam Man.
choicelady

McCain has every reason to be contemptuous of SCROTUS, after the POW dig.
pinkpantheroz

Nunes is being defended by his white constitutents, but his district is MORE POC than white, and I think he’s ripe for the picking in 2018. Presuming he’s not in jail.
choicelady

CL – Yep, “Winning is everything and self-justifying”. As a theoory gooes though, it isn’t so hard to believe that other Repub leaders could be involved in the Russia collaboration.
AdLib 2 hours ago
McCain is looking better and better these days. Which is a pitiful sign of the times…
kesmarn

PPO – I agree. Five time draft dodger disses a POW? Slime time.
choicelady

AdLib – definitely Nunes. He was on transition and knows where the bodies are buried. Probably buried a few of his own.
choicelady

Ad–don’t know about ryan, but it seems there’s something fishy going on with mcconnell’s wife and the transportation department. And probably will get even “fishier” when repubs start talking about infrastructure.
glenn

Agree, Kes. I’m not at all a fan, but he is surely more acceptable (for a Republican) than the clown show.
pinkpantheroz

CL – That would be incredible, if we could pick off Nunes in 2018! Do you think Dems could take the House then?
AdLib an hour ago
And, how is trump’s budget going to work if they haven’t “saved” any money by repealing Obamacare? I know that the EPA and DOE are supposed to go away, but I don’t think those budgets will pay for much.
glenn

CL – Sure would make sense why Nunes panicked and ran to Trump…if he found he was spoken about in surveillance.
AdLib an hour ago
glenn, I heard the same thing this evening — that the GOP was counting on the “saved” $$ from wrecking Obamacare. All gone now.
kesmarn

good point glenn. Bet they haven’t factored the chance of defeat into their budget
pinkpantheroz

Ad, why do it if he hadn’t been mentioned? Something smells even more than normal with this heap.
pinkpantheroz

glenn – This “drain-the-swamp” Trump admin could be the most coorrupt ever seen and McConnell and his wife could be part of that, easily.
AdLib an hour ago
PPO–Of course, they haven’t factored “defeat” into anything; they thought they were “bulletproof” being as they hold all three houses of government. Curses! Foiled again!
glenn

I think the core DNC strategy is to pick off House seats in basically blue states where HRC did well, large minority populations exist, and reclaim the House, yes. No use trying the TOTALLY Deep South yet – there are legal challenges (Holder’s doing that work) to redistricting, to harsh voter ID laws, to purging rolls by us of that totally useless program identifying felons that all has to come first. Might not be done by 2018. So we are targeting the probable districts. That MIGHT include, oddly, WV where in the first 60 days, GOP took away Black Lung survivor payments, tried to take health care, opened mining again to DEREGULATED awfulness, etc., etc., etc. People suddenly saw the truth. And the Dems can set them free!
choicelady

Ad, as I said before, they’ve just found out that the swamp is laid on quicksand, and they’ve stumbled into ti!
pinkpantheroz

PPO – Sure makes a lot of sense. But if Nunes was mentioned in intelligence reports, wouldn’t Schiff make a move to get him out as Intel Committee leader?
AdLib an hour ago
AdLib – they and Yam Man are SO corrupt that W is doing his ‘happy dance’ he’s no longer, “Worst Ever”.
choicelady

CL–I just hope the DNC has a strategy in place. I wasn’t impressed with their strategy during the election; they took way too many of their constituents for granted, IMO.
glenn

good point, glenn. DNC gotta shape up and start NOW!
pinkpantheroz

AdLib – I think Schiff, a former federal prosecutor, is having VERY interesting discussions w the majority leader chair, yes!
choicelady

Very interesting, CL. Aren’t there enough districts with Repub reps where Hillary won that could flip control of the House?
AdLib an hour ago
CL and AD–I’m liking what Schiff has to say lately!
glenn

Schiff rocks, glenn! He is an up and comer indeed!
AdLib an hour ago
It would be great to see W Virginia go Dem.
kesmarn

PPO – Slime is at home in swamps.
AdLib an hour ago
glenn – that’s why I love the NEW team. I think every DNC leader since Dean has screwed up. THESE two, Perez (whom I know personally and respect enormously) and Ellison ar on the same page about LOCAL control and 50-state strategy with extras for taking back vulnerable seats in Blue states w currently Red incumbents. Darrell Issa is another here.
choicelady

Hey Harleigh!
AdLib an hour ago
Hey !!
Harleigh

Kes – well it was once. Jay Rockefeller was very pro United Mine Workers for th most part, and they can do it again.
choicelady

Hey Harleigh!
choicelady

Hey, Harleigh!
kesmarn

Harleigh!
pinkpantheroz

CL–Glad to hear it. I agree; Dean’s 50-state strategy worked; I will never understand why Obama replaced him.
glenn

Hey Harleigh!
glenn

glenn – Schiff is an odd hero. He’s usually very understated. He is clearly pissed beyond measure!
choicelady

Right, CL! I have a friend with WV roots and she remembers the day (not so long ago) when WV was true blue.
kesmarn

Kes–Lordy, would I love to see Issa lose his seat, and I don’t even live in CA. But, he is one slimy SOB, IMO.
glenn

CL – I do like that Perez said he wants too return to Dean’s 50 state strategy. That will be key to Dems winning in 2018 and 2020, the majority opposes and will be discouraged by all of Trump’s failures.
AdLib an hour ago
glenn – I’m not sure Obama did replace Dean since I think his successor (can’t recall who that was) was elected? I don’t remember.
choicelady

Issa is horrible!
kesmarn

Kes–those are the heroes we need the most; the least expected ones.
glenn

Darrell Issa just sucks. He BARELY won last time.
choicelady

CL – Yes, Schiff is very much the prosecutor type, not the energetic populist. But he is damn smart and methodical…and principled.
AdLib an hour ago
Hi guys! I was trying to think up more ways for Dolt45 and the repube traitors to fuck up faster. I couldn’t think of anything.
Harleigh

CL–you may be right; I really didn’t pay much attention to the DNC before the election. My bad.
glenn

Issa is such a damn fraud and coward. His opponent from last year has registered to run against him again. And in 2018, I think he beats Issa like a drum.
AdLib an hour ago
Harleigh, wait till the tx ‘reform’ shite hits
pinkpantheroz

tax
pinkpantheroz

Ad Lib – one thing I’m liking is the shift Dems are making to enthusiastic support for the “understated” Dems such as Schiff. We are really LISTENING to what they say and not demanding ‘charisma’ that can mask superficial knowledge.
choicelady

Dolt45! Harleigh, I hadn’t heard that one yet! LOL!
kesmarn

glenn – DNC before Nov. 2016 was NOT effective. I think it will be again!
choicelady

Harleigh – good one!
choicelady

Agreed, CL. Schiff is coming off as far more formidable than the Dems old estab leaders like Schumer and Pelosi.
AdLib an hour ago
PPO I have been really feeling so sorry for all the millionaires and billionaires not getting a windfall on gutting HC for white rural baggers to keep HC.
Harleigh

AdLib – I don’t count out ANYONE. Pelosi has been GREAT the last few days calling out the Russian info and ACA, and Schumer has been less vocal but right on the money with his Tweets and statements. What WE need is bettr media coverage of that.
choicelady

Flynn is a human IED that keeps exploding. He is so unprincipled…he may be the one the FBI flips to get the bigger fish…including Trump.
AdLib an hour ago
CL–hope you’re right about the DNC. We need some effectiveness, especially now when the repubs are helping us out with their ineptitude at every turn. As almost every pundit says, trump can blame this on the Dems all he wants; but when the Dems had control of the government; they managed to get their health care bill passed without one repub vote!
glenn

MAybe the reason they couldn’t beat Obamacare was that the ACA was founded on Mitt Romney’s PLan!
pinkpantheroz

Harleigh – your heartfelt sympathies for the CEO types is duly noted!
choicelady

It was driving me nuts trying to recall who was DNC chair after Howard Dean. Had to look it up. Apparently, it was Tim Kaine.
kesmarn

Just before we hang them! muhahaha
Harleigh

PPO – that is actually a myth. Romneycar was VERY different. Only thing it shard w ACA is the mandate. The Trump plan was MUCH more like Romneycare – no help at all.
choicelady

brb
pinkpantheroz

kes – I thought DNC was a guy named Silver or some such?
choicelady

Kes–that’s interesting about Kaine; perhaps that’s why Clinton’s campaign took so many constituents for granted.
glenn

Good point, glenn.
kesmarn

CL – Schumer and Pelosi are doing and saying positive things but I would like to see new leaders emerge. Schumer isn’t really a leader for Dem voters and while Pelosi has accomplished so much, especially as Speaker, we need new blood too.
AdLib an hour ago
glenn – she did NOT take them for granted. She visited often in most states, and what I saw as a strong labor union person was a void in ‘surrogates’ such as the labor community speaking out with and for her. I will never understand that.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the formal governing body for the United States Democratic Party. The committee coordinates strategy to support Democratic Party candidates throughout the country for local, state, and national office. It organizes the Democratic National Convention held every four years to nominate and confirm a candidate for president, and to formulate the party platform. While it provides support for party candidates, it does not have direct authority over elected officials.[2]

The DNC is composed of the chairs and vice-chairs of each state Democratic Party committee and over 200 members elected by Democrats in all 50 states and the territories. Its chairperson is elected by the committee. It conducts fundraising to support its activities.[2]

The DNC was established at the 1848 Democratic National Convention.[1] The DNC’s main counterpart is the Republican National Committee.

WTH?? lol

PPO–you know, I was thinking today. If Romney had been elected in 2012, would we have had the same health care plan? If he had managed to pass a health care plan, repubs would have loved it, and it would be named Romneycare. I know Obamacare was already in place in 2012, but do you think romney would have been so quick to repeal it? Or would have repubs have been on board to “fix” it? Not that I would have liked to seen romney elected, but it would have been interesting, no?
glenn

Oops! Didn’t mean to post the whole article! LOL!

Any thoughts on who might run for the Dem nom in 2020?
AdLib an hour ago
AdLib – I have no problem with new blood IF they are actually prepared and have diverse experience. I’m not into change for change sake at this point. I LOVE Pelosi’s no holds barred jabs at the Yam Man – they have been awesome! We need someone w broad experience and lots of clout with diverse Dems.
choicelady

No worries, Kes!
AdLib an hour ago
I wish Al Franken would think about running in 2020.
kesmarn

glenn – Romney’s plan was horrible: flat subsidy of $200 no matter what it cost you, $15,000 deductible per prson per year with NOTHING lying outside the deductible other than kids’ immunizations and mammograms. It was unusable by many lower income people in MA who had to have it but used it as catastrophic only care. Awful plan.
choicelady

glenn – As we just saw with the Repubs trying to pass Trumpcare, they are fine doing all the things they attack Dems for as long as they think it will help them. So no question they would’ve voted for the ACA if it was under a Repub pres.
AdLib an hour ago
I don’t think Romney would have kept ACA as it is. Would have moved to HIS plan, and it would have ruined families.
choicelady

I can’t think of anyone since I’m way down in south florida…. no one in 1,000 miles.
Harleigh

nite kes!
Harleigh

Good night kes – it’s been super seeing you! Have a lovely weekend!
choicelady

CL–I thought Obamacare was based almost directly on the MA plan; didn’t realize those details you just worte about.
glenn

‘nite Kes. Have a good weekend!
glenn

han g on KES! Funksands just tweeted: Basketball fans around the U.S. treated to prematurely-bought ads congratulating Republicans for repealing Obamacare!!!!!
pinkpantheroz

glenn – it’s VASTLY different which is why GOP hate it so much.
choicelady

Agree with you on Pelosi’s strength in attacks against Trump and Repubs. But I would say we need a future for Dems and that means bringing up younger leaders. Like sports teams, noo matter how great youor currrent players may be, if you want to keep being a great team, you have to be bringing up younger players to step in and be the next stars.
AdLib an hour ago
G’night, Kes
pinkpantheroz

Night Kes! Glad you made it!
AdLib an hour ago
CL–okay, that explains why the gop hates it. Obamacare actually helps people, unlike the gop plan you’ve described.
glenn

ACA is truly tied to your ability to pay. Sliding scales based on INCOME w 20 required things including expensive tests OUTSIDE need to use deductible. The deductible is also subsidized for lower income people, and is capped on silver plans at a much lower rate – $6K instead of $60K!
choicelady

glenn – that’s for a family of 4. Not per person.
choicelady

Howdy all. Reprieve from the warden feels pretty good!
funksands

PPO–really? That’s funny!
glenn

CL – No question, Rmney had no principles so he would have been fine with making an ACA-like plan that was far worse. Repubs are like that. Remember how much we disliked him? Trump makes him look almoost like a Dem!
AdLib an hour ago
Funk–are you here?
glenn

Hey Mr. Funk!
AdLib an hour ago
ACa actually HELPS, yes. And it’s NOT rising so fast – and subsidies keep it affordable. In only ONE state – IL – were people paying 5% more out of pocket. GOP want NO subsidies. Yeah – that’ll be ‘freedom’ for sure!

funksands

Hey Funk, good to “see” you. That ad is priceless!
glenn

Good use of money huh Harleigh?
funksands

Looks like the American Action Network was neither in the action, or in the network!
glenn

AdLib – I do think the fury from Trump supporters would have been awful, but those are really ill people who probably would NOT have been part of the revolution! They don’t have the resources.
choicelady

They are wasting so much money so fast in front of the country even I’m appalled.
Harleigh

BRB
glenn

Only 3 months and already the most failed and disliked presidency. See what Russian and FBI interference gets you?
AdLib an hour ago
funk – I have been thinking of you. I have a ton of friends needing ACA.
choicelady

Ad, I can imagine all the people who would die. Some states are trying their best to kill their citizens (looking at you texas) but the feds have a bigger stick
funksands

Choice, thank you.
funksands

AdLib – it’s actually just slightly over TWO MONTHS = seems like 2 YEARS given the scandals and fuck ups!
choicelady

And BTW, how about Comey coming out about Hillary’s emails just before the election but saying nothing about their investigation to Trump and cronies being traitors?
AdLib an hour ago
Planned Obsolescence
funksands

AdLib – I think Mr. Comey is trying to pretend he didn’t discriminate. Not working.
choicelady

Kakocracy
funksands

Ad, that would have been rude
funksands

spot on, cl. Comey’s a slimeball toady. Sorry, toadys have more integrity than him
pinkpantheroz

AL they also knew of dolt45 russian contacts and did NOT disclose those..
Harleigh

CL – I wonder, I think this continued exposure of Trump as a fraud, loser and betrayer will sap his supporters of enthusiasm. Did you see the “protests” they tried to stage aroound the country in response to The Resistance protests? They were outnumbered by stray dogs!
AdLib an hour ago
Intersting article about how lobbyists are having a hard time lobbying the Administration because there isn’t anyone to lobby. State and Treasury are “ghost towns”
funksands

AdLib – I think his plummeting in the polls to 37% approval (and 29% on health care) says he’s already burned his bridges. Yeah – his support is pathetic!
choicelady

Funk – And seeing the powerful defiance and anger at the town halls, I think the response would have been a revolution.
AdLib an hour ago
CL – You’re right, only 2 months??? No way he can last 4 years!
AdLib an hour ago
funk – I think I am of mixed mind on the lack of leadership. One hand it’s a problem, other it’s a great way to let good civil servants run free!
choicelady

Ad, I think it will eventually, like water, trickle down to the Stygian depths of those fools that they have been mightily and thoroughly screwed
pinkpantheroz

My feeling is that this can be used as a pivot to Medicare for All
funksands

I wonder whatever happened to Orly Taitz when she got shut down by the courts dolt45 took up on the debunked birther bullshit. bigly
Harleigh

Dems can use this. Yay for the ACA, what a political opportunity
funksands

CL – Comey is political and flawed. We’re stuck with him. He’s not a slave too Repubs but clearly leans towards them.
AdLib an hour ago
AdLib – we’re HAVING the revolution. It’s both activism and advocacy, and that’s a powerful mix. We are not silent anymore!
choicelady

Harleigh – Oh yeah, the FBI knows a lot aboout Trump’s campaign colluding with the Russians. We really need people to realize that they need to be shocked by this.
AdLib an hour ago
harleigh, busy getting her ass kicked running for office in Cali
funksands

Choice, that’s an interesting take
funksands

medicare is the only way and it’s already in place. Bargaing drug prices would be a no brainer too.
Harleigh

CL – If Trump drops to 35% or below, that will expose supporters are leaving him. And we will see that.
AdLib an hour ago
Dem message for midterms: “Medicare good enough for your mom, good enough for the President, good enough for the rest of us”
funksands

AdLib – I think comey, part of Whitewater, let his personal antipathy to HRC lead him to void protocol. NOW he sees the REAL disaster that he let in! I hope he will DO HIS JOB.
choicelady

brb
funksands

PPO – As Trump keeps failing, when the wall never happens, which it won’t, his two main pillars will be gone and I believe his supporters will dwindle and melt away.
AdLib an hour ago
AdLib- he’s teetering on the brink of 35%. I think he may resign which would leave him vulnerable to criminal charges, maybe treason.
choicelady

CL – The Resistance just won its first giant battle! Nothing succeeds like success! We have to keep marching and fighting!
AdLib an hour ago
Ad, I wouldn’t be so sure. The majority of America doesn’t even know a lot of this is going on. Never underestimate the power of identity.
funksands

CL – Just saying that had Trumpcare passed, I think there would be even more hostile and aggressive protests. When it’s life or death, there’s nothing left to lose.
AdLib an hour ago
Harleigh – I fear Medicare is NOT easily translatable to care for infants on up. NO ONE has done the cost calculations to know what we would pay, what needs to be covered. Medicare builds a ‘savings account’ over 40-50 years for each of us. How can we do that from birth on at same rates? AND it requires 20% PRIVATE – so what would THAT cost us? VT blew up with it. Single payer there was NINE times more expensive than ACA for working families.
choicelady

I could easily see a frustrated, disinterested Trump quitting after the midterms. It depends on whether or not his family have looted enough yet.
funksands

Harleigh – Agreed, Medicare For All is the simplest, smartest way to launch universal healthcare.
AdLib an hour ago
funk – I think a whole lot of Trump supporters just saw everything they believe blow up in their faces. It’s a very different, far less ignorant world now about DJT than it was.
choicelady

Choice single payer on a state level is insanity. On a federal level its doable. The federal government doesn’t actually bank our medicare payments to pay for things. Everything is done in arrears, which states can’t do.
funksands

AdLib – that I agree. I think Trump supporters STILL may turn on the SOB. Some already are!
choicelady

CL – I do think Comey is investigating Trump despite his political leanings. Most FBI folks do love the country and would see the invasion of Russia into our elections and WH as horrible.
AdLib an hour ago
Choice, I hope you are right. Memories fade very quickly as new distractions come up
funksands

I seem to recall Trump backing away from any authorship in the bill. Funny that, because Sean the Mouth said”When you look at legislative efforts, I think the president has given it his all,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters Friday. “And I think it shocked a lot of people, frankly, how very, very detail-oriented, how personal it was for him ― calling members, you know, as early as 6 in the morning and going to 11 at night the last several nights, sitting down meeting after meeting with them, coming back and revising it, having his team back and forth.” Spicer added that Trump “used every minute of every day that’s possible to get this thing through” and “left everything on the field.”
pinkpantheroz

funk – that’s as may be, but we still need a DEEP accounting before we dive in. MOST industrialized countries use highly regulated private insurance. We need to compare systems, do the math here.
choicelady

CL – Yes, he seems to have a floor around 35%. Just saying that if and when he breaks through that, the end for him is near.
AdLib an hour ago
Pink, that message will change really quickly. He’s already blaming everyone but himself. He’s already saying that “i’ve been saying all along we should just let Obamacare explode and prove us all right”
funksands

PPO – I know Spicer SAID that. I actually don’t believe Trump was all that engaged. We could see where he was the last few days. Playing truck driver and all…
choicelady

Ad–do you really think trump would resign? I’m not so sure about that. On one hand, I think he had NO clue as to what the job of President entailed, and would love to quit. On the other hand, I can’t see him leaving the office voluntarily.
glenn

Funk, agreed many Americans don’t know everything that’s going on but I do think the broad strookes will bleed into their view. Most know Trump was “Repeal and Replace”, since that’s not happening and it’s a massive stoory, they may at least see he failed.
AdLib an hour ago
Choice, the Germans have already provided a good model. They’ve got their own Medicare that covers everyone’s basic needs and a robust supplemental private market to cover the rest. But of course it has to be looked at very closely. In the meantime, run on it so you can force the examination to come much more quickly
funksands

glenn – no I dont’ think he’ll quit because he’d be hauled up on criminal charges over collusion. He thinks being president gives him total immunity. He has SAID so.
choicelady

Glenn, the money is too good. That along will make him put up with a lot
funksands

*alone*
funksands

Ad and Funk–but repubs are so good at spinning; some of them on the shows are saying that this failure today is actually a victory, because they are now going to wait for Obamacare to implode.
glenn

funk – that was what ACA was supposed to be ultimately – German model. Then we got GOP, and nothing got done at all.
choicelady

funk, glenn – anyone read that he is TAKING his salary? That’s another promise broken!
choicelady

Glenn exactly. I’ve been saying for weeks: They aren’t going to repeal it, they aren’t going to replace it, they aren’t going to fund it, they aren’t going to fix it. They are going to let it rot.
funksands

CL – My proposition is to raise the percentage that the wealthier pay into Medicare to cover the young. Hugely, they can afford it.
AdLib an hour ago
glenn – ACA is not in death spiral or imploding. GOP can screw with payments, but it’s quite sound nationally.
choicelady

This admin is a fuckup at least 10 times a day in a willful distracting shit blizzard. MSM just can’t keep up yet.
Harleigh

CL–yeah, I read that too about his salary. The latest I read was that he will give his salary back at the end of the year, because he HAS to take it monthly. What a liar this man is!
glenn

AdLib – I totally agree that there should be no cap on Medicare or SS.
choicelady

People need to pace themselves. The administration is simply hoping people get exhausted lifting rocks
funksands

CL–I know that and you know that; but as long as repubs keep saying it’s imploding, then their base will believe them.
glenn

No cap on Medicare already.
funksands

glenn – he will use it as a deduction IF he gives it back. I don’t think he’ll give it back.
choicelady

PPO – Whoops! If Trump has given it his all and loses, what does that say about The Great Negotiator?
AdLib an hour ago
Trump must be so tired of winning
funksands

glenn – there is HUGE pushback against the lies about ACA now. People are actually LOOKING at it. It’s quit sound.
choicelady

CL–I agree. At the end of the year, he’ll come up with another excuse for why he’s keeping it.
glenn

Ironic that one reason the vote failed is because law wasn’t cruel and stupid enough
funksands

glenn – while he charges SS rent at the Gold House in NYC, at the Platinum House in Mar-a-Lago – he’s making MONEY off being president!
choicelady

CL – I agree that Dems should always do a proper accounting before passing big bills like Medicare For All. I would say that whatever gaps there are, we just pull up the contribution rates for the wealthy and make them contribute back to a healthy America.
AdLib 44 minutes ago
CL–Yup. I just don’t understand why this pushback didn’t occur earlier. I blame a lot of it on the media; they let repubs get away with their lies about Obamacare for way too long.
glenn

He’s going to make BILLIONS in ancillary dollars from being the President
funksands

funk – I know. The reason for non passage is horrible. Just glad it didn’t pass. Makes Ryan look incompetent (well that wasn’t hard.)
choicelady

Speaking of lies, since we’ve had so many in the 60-odd days trump has been president; anyone predicting what PolitiFact’s “LIe of the Year” will be this year? My money’s on the wiretapping lie.
glenn

spending over $5Mil a week in weekend vacays etc… more than Obama in a year spent so far. thieves
Harleigh

AdLib – we do have another SP bill in framework from Lara. Jerry Brown just slammed it. Still and all w the survival of ACA for the moment, it might actually be time to do it IF THE IDIOTS I WORK WITH will DO THE DAMNED MATH.
choicelady

glenn – Depending oon the circumstances, I could see Trump bailing on the WH, just a political version of another of his many bankruptcies. But I wouldn’t bet on it. He craves the attention and power, I think he’d go down in flames, more likely. But I could imagine that he could get so frustrated he just wanted to quit.
AdLib 42 minutes ago
CL–yup; he’s nothing but a con man, and a con man never turns away money, no matter how he makes it.
glenn

Well, on this happy evening, I’m going to say cheerio and everybody have a good snort before bed!
pinkpantheroz

“This time we knew if it got to the President’s desk he’d sign it” – very revealing
funksands

funk – Yup.
choicelady

Ad–I would much rather see him go down in flames, or in handcuffs, than see him resign. If he resigns, he just becomes another “victim”, according to his supporters.
glenn

glenn – But isn’t trying to spin this massive loss as a win exposing how dishonest they are? Remember, you can only fool all of the people some of the time…
AdLib 40 minutes ago
List of dolt45 bullshit
Harleigh

…but you can fool people that want to be fooled all of the time…
funksands

As soon as he takes away HC, SNAP and Liheap from his base and they start to suffer and die maybe even they will realize what a POS Drumpf and his ilk really are. Die baggers die!! LMAO

Harleigh

adLib – I think the MSM has got his number finally and won’t let him get away with lies about his ‘successes’ anymore.
choicelady

Harleigh – exactly. His base depends on those programs.
choicelady

Funk – Trump may have to enjoy his newfound billions from a prison cell.
AdLib 39 minutes ago
yep
Harleigh

CL–Finally, the MSM has gotten his number; it’s about time they won’t let him or his spokespersons get away with lying any more.
glenn

funk – the willingly fooled are still a minority. His poll numbers keep sinking, and they now are BELOW his original win base.
choicelady

Oh that would be nice! Might improve his diet a bit
funksands

Funk–good one!
glenn

AdLib – i don’t think “you can take it with you” in federal prison…
choicelady

70% of those programs go to rural white folks.
Harleigh

All I’m saying is that people shouldn’t celebrate just yet.
funksands

Harleigh – YUP!
choicelady

BTW, does anyone know where trump is tonight? Is he in FL, or did he stay in DC this weekend?
glenn

CL – That is great news…except for Brown opposing it! If CA can pass a SP bill that is smartly built, we could spread it around the country and make it federal.
AdLib 37 minutes ago
funk – we’re not, but we can be strategic, building on his incredible stupidity.
choicelady

Maybe he’s visiting his wife.
funksands

That is the right attitude
funksands

AdLib – MAYBE. I have scant faith in my peers. I raised the issue with CA Nurses, but they’re NOT DOING THE JOB.
choicelady

Time for me to call it a night, folks. Take care everyone, and let’s enjoy trump’s and ryan’s failure for as long as we can!
glenn

single payer on a state level is nearly impossible. But if anyone can do it, CA can. If the goals of the program are basic care, they might be able to pull it off
funksands

Nite glenn!
funksands

Brown opposed it BEFORE today. Maybe he’d be OK now, but it SO depends on how it pencils out.
choicelady

glenn – I think it’s best for Dems too be able to run against Trump in 2018 and 2020, I don’t want him out and Pence in. Let America have a choice between the continued insanity and failure of Trump and a solid, smart Dem whoo wants to “Make America Sane Again”.
AdLib 36 minutes ago
Good night glenn – hope to see you soon. Have a lovely weekend!
choicelady

yes, replacing trump with pence is not an improvement. He’ll staff up with competent people and wage jihad on us all
funksands

nite glenn, nite folks. I’m fallin asleep. see you next week, same bat time
Harleigh

CL – Trump can admire his bank statements from afar…in an orange jumpsuit.
AdLib 35 minutes ago
Nite glenn and Harleigh!
AdLib 35 minutes ago
Well folks – I’m toddling off, too. I’ve had two hellacious weeks battling after effects of my office getting flooded and black mold. So I’m not feeling that great, and it’s time for a snooze. Have a wonderful weekend all. See you soon!
choicelady

Night choice! Take care of yourself. that crap is not something to screw around with
funksands

Night Haleigh. Smoke one for me
funksands

glenn – I think Trump is nursing his wounds at the Russian Embassy tonight.
AdLib 34 minutes ago
you got it funky. later mon
Harleigh

Night CL! Take care!
AdLib 34 minutes ago
AdLib – Orange is the new orange? G’night, friend. Talk to you next week. funk – I know. We’re all vaguely illl and very glad it got cleaned up today.
choicelady

Alone at last
funksands

So Funk, less stress in Funkworld today?
AdLib 33 minutes ago
Every day I wake up and think to myself. “he isn’t really the president is he?” Every day disappointed
funksands

Yep, a bit.
funksands

This is what many of us predicted months ago but have to admit, after Trump’s election, I know anything could happen.
AdLib 32 minutes ago
I’m unfortunately going to be using the shit out of my private health insurance this year, so I’m thankful for the reprieve
funksands

Yep. I was vaguely nervous about it for a while, but I never thought it could happen. Shame on me.
funksands

Same here, it seems like a stunt that can’t last 4 years. Like a 4 year long episode of Jackass.
AdLib 31 minutes ago
Sorry to hear that Funk, glad you doon’t have to worry aboout losing your coverage though.
AdLib 30 minutes ago
yeah, there’s just too much. Something is going to break. Unfortunately most Presidencies are defined by the crises they face. I shudder how this skeleton crew of an administration would respond to a serious crisis. That could break them
funksands

No doubt. I knew I was safe for this year. If we can hang on until the summer, then we are probably safe for another year
funksands

I hate to say it but terrible things will have to happen, loogic just dictates it. We know Trump isn’t equipped too make good decisions. There will be crises, there always are, and Trump doesn’t have the tools to handle them.
AdLib 29 minutes ago
Yep, open heart surgery in August. Knew it was coming for 13 years, but still a bit of a shock when the time comes.
funksands

Oh no! Damn…
AdLib 28 minutes ago
Is it inserting a stint?
AdLib 27 minutes ago
Yeah. Should be fine. I’m young, in really good health, don’t have to have my valve replaced. They are replacing the bottom 4 inches of my aorta. That’s due to the genetic issue the males in my family have. My heart is as healthy as a horse!

The surgeon that has the most experience in the US with this procedure happens to be at University of Washington Medical Center 3 miles away

Oh. It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other but you seem a healthy type guy. Have you known for a while?
AdLib 25 minutes ago
13 years
funksands

Right.
AdLib 25 minutes ago
Well, it takes a lot of bravery to commit to going through it. But you can’t let it go either.
AdLib 25 minutes ago
My dad had to have this done. Once the surgeon was finished, he encouraged all of us to go get genetic testing as my dad’s issue was indicative of a problem
funksands

He did it in 2003. My oldest has the same problem. Youngest dodged the bullet

That is a very wise doctor, to be thinking of the whole family like that. It must feel like having a cloud hanging overhead so at least, once it’s done, that cloud will be gone for good.
AdLib 23 minutes ago
Yeah, we made an agreement that once the aortic measurements reached a certain point, we were going to do it. Found out in November
funksands

It will. My son will have this done in a few years. We are much more concerned about him as it is more severe and will require significant work
funksands

How old is he?
AdLib 22 minutes ago
That said, my dad is 75 and still going strong, so that gives me some hope
funksands

James is 17
funksands

Just waiting for him to stop growing.
funksands

Very happy that your dad’s proving that once addressed, his health is solid. That’s tough about James, I’m sure he’s as strong and as tough as his dad.
AdLib 21 minutes ago
Hey Murph!
AdLib 21 minutes ago
Ha, we’ll see! Probably tougher

Just home from a meeting. We are going to go after our local congressman…a freedom caucus jackass.

I’ve got to go, but I’ll leave you from this from Pete Souza, the former White House photographer:

Hi funk!
MurphTheSurf3

Funk – Ain’t that the way it is? The next generation seems to be tougher!

Funk…something I said?
MurphTheSurf3

Murph – Well done!
AdLib 20 minutes ago
I love that photographer and what he is doing with his archive.

The look on Obama and Pence’s face is just priceless
funksands

Oh no doubt. I am a big fan of his

Well, good night Funk…See ya at Yabbie! And here! Great day for the good guys but the work has just begun.
MurphTheSurf3

Funk – Fantasy football indeed! Just proves what frauds Repubs are. Cowards, really.
AdLib 18 minutes ago
Night everyone, take care of yourselves and have a good weekend!
funksands

Night Funk!
AdLib 18 minutes ago
Well…ad…just you and me……
MurphTheSurf3

Who would have thought that Repubs would shoot themselves in the face? Maybe Dick Cheney?
AdLib 17 minutes ago
Yep, had a great turnout earlier.
AdLib 17 minutes ago
A day to celebrate!
AdLib 16 minutes ago
I spoke to that old time GOPer I quoted a week or so ago tonight….he is half happy and half sad. Who was here?
MurphTheSurf3

Kes, Choicelady, Fuzzy, glenn, Harleigh, Funk, etc.
AdLib 16 minutes ago
But with the GOP having slipped in legislation in 2015 that killed the risk corridors for the insurance companies the slide downward will continue in states like mine.
MurphTheSurf3

You can scroll back, some great chats! Except you were missing!
AdLib 15 minutes ago
I have not spoken with Choice in a month of Sundays! Dang it!
MurphTheSurf3

I will look back to the chats.
MurphTheSurf3

Yep, the Repubs will keep trying to sabotage the ACA but it won’t make 24 million Americans and mroe want to lose their healthcare, just the opposite, it will only make Americans want the ACA fixed.
AdLib 14 minutes ago
The other thing that has to be done is make the cost of staying uninsured a match for the lowest level of coverage….bronze level for example. That will also be very hard to get at.
MurphTheSurf3

My sources in the Indivisible Crowd say that the next step is to block the GOP from “moving on” and to force them back onto the health care field for cries to fix the ACA
MurphTheSurf3

Unless someone can figure out more of an incentive, a carrot instead of a stick to get uninsured young people getting insurance. Then again, if a future Dem Congress and Pres can institute a payroll type tax for Medicare For All, problem solved.
AdLib 12 minutes ago
That is a good idea but don’t knoow that we can get Repubs and Trump to goo back to the ACA when they have tax cuts, budgets, debt ceiling and The Wall teed up.
AdLib 11 minutes ago
I heard Repubs are now going to abandon “repeal and replace” as a campaign.
AdLib 10 minutes ago
Get some rest, one victory down, more to go!
AdLib 9 minutes ago
Ad…the ACA is the “law of the land” – with that statement Ryan puts himself into a position of accountability as the Speaker of the House.
MurphTheSurf3

I think he said it vindictively, he wants to sabotage it.
AdLib 9 minutes ago
GOP is profoundly embarrassed and that is well deserved.
MurphTheSurf3

I won’t get tired of winning, I promise.
AdLib 9 minutes ago
We can’t let him get away with it. And I am off to bad. Winning!
MurphTheSurf3

Right you are! Sleep well!
