A friend of ours’ 9-year old child was knocked down and died on the scene. The Medicos called in a chopper to rush him to hospital, and put him on a respirator. Under intense pressure from the doctors, our friend agreed to donate organs. She only found out later that the only reason the boy was flown to the hospital was just for the organs, that there was never a chance he could recover from the accident. So that poor family will now have even more pressure on them. I’m worried about elderly relatives in Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Delaware, and if they’re anywhere near that amount of cold, I’ll be REALLY worried. The problem is with the time difference between Aus and East Coast. Hopefully it won’t last too much longer.

Actually, you have brought up a very good point about remuneration. If I were to have the time and was not having dinner, guests, sex, etc..( strike the last one!), If they called and said “How would you like to receive $20 for 10 minutes of your time”, I just might accommodate them. It would show their seriousness and that they are genuine MR Callers. It’s the shonky ones I hate! Still, a good discussion and worth your input. Thank you.
