There are many problems with the linked article, not the least of which is the basic statement that ‘it’s more a problem found on the right than on the left’, so it’s more ‘their’ fault. That is demonstrably false – and evident to those who still have an open mind.
Just a few points – “American conservatism has a violence problem.” – Are you familiar with all those on the left (political, as well as ‘Hollywood’) who have spoken of, espoused, encouraged, and justified violence against people with differing points of view (especially ‘Trump supporters’)? How aware are you of the violence committed in the name of the ‘tolerant’ left? Or how about the jihadi attacks averted due to the FBI, et al?
The article then goes on to talk about the language that “mimicked the language that Trump has used.” Apparently, the shooter held those beliefs long before Trump was a blip on the presidential screen.
“Mainstream conservative politicians use the rhetoric of physical violence much more often, starting with the current president of the United States.” Really??? Give the examples. I’ve heard those on the left encourage violence against those who disagree with them. Many times. The author should provide actual examples of political figures on the right (including Trump) encouraging violence, rather than the author making a very general accusation and not backing it up. Proof, not interpretation. And context is always important.
“Right-wing terrorism is killing far more Americans these days than Islamist terrorism.” Maybe. But I don’t believe that it’s because the threat of Islamist extremist terrorism is less; but rather believe that because it is greater, more resources are focused on preventing it (and there are only so many resources available). Remember – September 11 – just under 3000 people were killed (and an additional 6000 injured) and it took only 19 terrorists to cause such loss of life in such a short period of time.
“Too many people still think of these attacks as single events” True. Let’s look at the underlying causes…the breakdown of the family for starters. The fatherless home. The promotion of the culture of death. The dehumanization of the most innocent humans. The justification of taking another’s life. The desensitization of killing – via movies, music, video games, etc. let’s address those problems. That’s paramount. The blaming of the 2nd Amendment and/or the NRA is a cop-out. It’s the lazy man’s approach because it’s easier to legislate than it is to deal with root problems.
“the support and enabling of a president that inspires white nationalist terrorists” Really?? And who did Obama inspire? BLM? Antifa? How did that help?
The bottom line is that each person is responsible for the choices that they make – and is also responsible for the consequences of those choices. It is their burden and theirs alone.

Don’t you find it interesting, and perhaps very telling, that Mueller wouldn’t respond to questions about the debunked Steele dossier, even though it was used as justification for FISA warrants (as well as early investigations)? You know, the dossier bought and paid for by the Hillary campaign…
It was, in fact, the D’s that looked ‘very stupid’ as they continually tried to lay a foundation for impeachment. A foundation laid on sand, as it, not surprisingly, turns out.

Remember the ‘death panels’ spoken of in the ramp-up of Obamacare? Remember (or did you even hear about) the projections of what could happen in re: healthcare insurance approvals after Obamacare?
The making of Obamacare into law was the beginning of this. It was forseen by many with eyes to see (just as governmental interference in (and denial of) testing decisions and treatment options were forseen). The law we have now is thanks to those who allowed Obamacare to become the law of the land (even though most – by their own admission- had not actually read the law), as well as those who failed to amend the many faults in Obamacare, or ‘repeal and replace’ Obamacare with a better program/system in the ensuing years.
Partisan politics taking presidence over actual Americans. Sad; but not unexpected.

Racist comments are free speech – regardless of how disturbing those comments may be. The last I checked, people in our country are supposed to be free to think and feel what they think and feel. The problem arises when those racist thoughts become racist actions. At that point, legal action can be taken.

The crisis at our border is due to our current immigration laws (and the D determination to fight all things under the Trump administration – where was the outrage when things were happening under the Obama admin – to include a higher death rate for detainees??). It is now, and has been, up to Congress to change immigration laws. They have failed to do so for many years – and preceding Trump.

As to ‘concentration camps’ – even the Washington Holocaust Museum has taken issue with this ‘comparison’ – there is a big difference between real concentration camps and the detention centers we have for illegal border crossers.

Collusion: Hillary and the D’s did it in 2016 (fake Russian ‘dossier’). The difference here is that Trump didn’t say he would seek info. out or pay for it (again, see Hillary & the D’s in 2016); however, he did say that depending on the content, he might refer said info to the FBI.
Also, in case you missed it, the Mueller Report clearly cleared Trump and his campaign of any collusion.
