THE EAGLE (has trouble) LANDING

Great pix, SB. I live on the Nooksack River with a nesting pair just across from my beach. That nest is a constant thrill for me. my camera though, is a little point and shoot and your work is perfection. Thank you so much for sharing. My prize bird pix are of barn swallows who set up housekeeping just out of reach of my screen door. We watched from the building of the nest( on top of my garden gloves) to the fall flight to California. Cheering each new accomplishment as the summer wore on. Sharing nature up close and personal is certainly a priveledge.May we always prevail in the fight against the EPA by the dunderheads on the right!

THE GREAT AMERICAN CON

I used to provide links to statistics, quote them directly, and used analogies in the hopes of making people understand, when I commented at HP. The biggest barrier I ran up against was those who quoted half assed facts and outright lies provided by Faux Newz. I find it hard to share information with people who receive, as absolute fact, anything promoted by Faux. The MSM doesn’t seem to outright lie but they can ignore things in a manner that would have made my kids proud.

Oar in one hand and pitchfork in the other, I am with you.

Thanks Bob and so well done. Couldn’t have told the story better and I plan to share it. One can only hope it gets through to others. I also am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. I always thought that made me a centrist. Good to know there is another in my boat. Truly enjoyed your STING, sad but true 😉

Mike Huckabee: The Craven Christian

Huckabee is not an anomoly. There have been men of God just like him through out the centuries. Get your attention by talking your everlasting life and then using your blind obedience to twirl you through the political forest. The Emporer Constantine played the same game before rewriting the Bible. Hence the Nicaen Council and the creed. Write your religion to suit your political purposes.

He must belong to the same sect as Newt Gingrich. Belief in an all forgiving God that allows you to lie , cheat, steal and fornicate at will and then that all forgiving God will wash your sins away. No requirement that you act in good faith. Apparently there is nothing that won’t be forgiven. God deliver me from his followers and his organized religions.

Pessimism in the Age of Mass Manipulation and Plutocracy…

Abby Rose, Sadly I think the crux of our lives is represented in your observation, ” More simply put…BUSINESS exists to benefit mankind, mankind DOES NOT exist to benefit business”. I am partially disabled now and no longer able to work but at my age it is not so threatening. My concern is for my children and grandchildren and what the future holds for them and you and so many others. I am now dedicating my time to making the truth known, pushing for solutions,and suggesting solutions where possible.

I have had the feeling this week, for the first time in years, that people may be seeing things with new eyes. We may have reached the apex of the chaos of the last 35 years. There will always be extremists but I think those in the middle are seeing things more clearly and hopefully will act accordingly.

I see alternative news sources developing and hopefully a chance for you to write. We need writers who will tell it like it is, and say it in a way that all can understand.You are a talented and caring person and I hope your chance comes soon.

I Never Saw The Temple…..

Hiya Wolf, I enjoyed that. It brought back many memories. My dad was mormon and my mom a lutheran.I attended those and many other churches over the years. I am very spiritual but don’t believe in religions but , I never found one that promised me camping.
