Nobody’s “pro abortion.” That’s just rude.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 6:26 pm

I know. It’s getting late.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 6:25 pm

He is batshit crazy.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 6:21 pm

Yeah, Pence is a piece of work.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 6:20 pm

“The most pro abortion president in American history.”

Somebody roll up a newspaper and swat that guy on the back of the head.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 6:19 pm

This guy is utterly deranged. OMG it’s Ryan. He’s a real nut.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 6:13 pm

Yeah — Me and my anger are more important than the overwhelming majority of the American People — not to mention someone’s life.

What a bug.

Well said, Sue.

Now I have a new favorite — the government will require us to purchase a car from GM. πŸ˜†

These are tomorrow’s talking points. I’m sure most of it comes directly from Frank Luntz. This is what they want people who don’t know any better to believe.

I love Danny Davis…

…. and Debbie.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 5:28 pm

No.

They’ believe they’re toast if this passes.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 5:27 pm

My favorite lie is that the GOP had no chance to weigh in. That one always cracks me up.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 5:26 pm

This is getting exciting. The more the Reeps pile on, the more I’m sure we’ll have health care tomorrow.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 5:24 pm

They’re not listening to anyone but their base. It’s so ironic — the Dems listen to the GOP base and think that’s America, and the Reeps listen to the GOP base and think that’s America.

Progressives have a lot of work to do!

What’s this from Brady, a fairy tale?

People go on the record lying. It’s stunning.

If ABC can hire Amanpour for This Week, I don’t see why NBC can’t hire Rachel Maddow for Meet the Press. She would be so amazing at that desk.

I really think a lot of them are paid. They only know the talking points and don’t really understand the debate.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 3:52 pm

Once H.R. 3590 is passed it goes to the President for a signature. It’s law. He’s talking about the reconciliation package — and that might have to go back to the house. But I doubt the Senate will make the bill more conservative. They don’t have to, to get the votes. And if they make it more progressive, it will be an easier vote in the House.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 3:50 pm

Democrats have an annoying habit of thinking they have to quote Republicans to validate an idea.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 3:48 pm

60 minutes in congressional time is like 60 minutes in football time. We’re going to be here a while.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 3:42 pm

It’s interesting to listen to the callers on C-SPAN. People supporting the bill always call in w very specific cases where they had problems, this is what happened to me, and this is what would help me. Those against the bill are always very vague — government takeover, nothing specific about how this would hurt them personally, or anyone they know. It shows how weak the arguments are on the other side.

Nice! Maybe the guru hat should go to you!

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 3:37 pm

Okay, what the hell just happened?

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 2:41 pm

BIgotry makes people very stupid. Apparently so does being a Republican.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 2:40 pm

Whoa — didn’t see that coming.

Nice reference to the “checks in hand” that went to Iraq. I wish the Dems would do more of that. Exposing GOP hypocrisy is one of the best defenses against their lies.

Katherine looks like the demonic older sister.
