Today’s Historic House Vote on HCR – LIVE FEED AND BLOG

I really like Louise Slaughter.

Just call me “the greatest political guru of all time.” And I’ll have the hat to prove it.

I really am curious to see what happens when… if… people start talking about that. It’s been really hush hush.

Clyburn is right. This is the Civil Rights Act of the 21st Century.

Wow, C-SPAN call against the bill — It doesn’t go far enough. That’s my kind of call.

Barack must feel so good. This was the number one item on his agenda — and the toughest item.

And he pulled it off.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 8:50 pm

Where do we watch? Will that play here, too?

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 8:47 pm

The only good thing is, now people can start talking more freely about the bill — because they’re not worried that more information will influence the vote.

We’re going to hear a lot about what this bill does and doesn’t do. That will help calm things down.

Geez. I don’t even know what to say about that.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 8:43 pm

I don’t want to hear another word ever about the president not keeping his campaign promises.

» Posted By nellie On March 21, 2010 @ 8:39 pm

Thanks CL for that observation. We owe a lot to this president. He is one smart cookie.

I just knew all my friends would be okay. Because they had to be.

That’s great, Cher.

It’s such a good thing. I expected it to pass, and yet I can hardly believe it.

That’s my take, NTL.
