We so needed the rain. It was brief here, but every little bit helps. We didn’t get any wind, either. I had no idea the storm was that big!

I don’t get the anti-global warming folks. We need to make the changes in our energy policy no matter what. For national security. For health — thank you EPA! So why the hysteria over the science? I really don’t get it.

I know what you mean. It’s almost the same for me being in CA. This site seems to operate on Eastern Standard Time — that’s when the traffic seems to pick up. And I’m just enough off schedule to miss those hours.

I don’t know why I’m awake. It always takes me a while to adjust back to standard time after we switch from daylight savings time. I think that’s what’s going on.

One of the cats woke me up at 4 am asking to go out, and I’m not getting back to sleep. So I thought I’d check in w PPOV.

Tomasky makes a lot of sense, and he’s so calm about it. I really appreciated the people who aren’t pushing their ideas, but rather offering them. He’s very thoughtful.

Thanks for the Tomasky video. I’ve added him to my Delicious Bookmarks so I can keep up w his blog. Sometimes it’s easier to follow the reporters you can trust rather than the news outlets. Love the collar, too!

TV drama seems to be the only place to find interesting Republicans in the media these days!

Maybe I can find it on Hulu — saves the wait for Netflix.

surprisingly well — but it’s still late. The hard part is done — getting the story worked out. Now it’s just slogging through the dialogue and doing a lot of daydreaming to “see” that it works.

Boo, Pepe! I hate cold weather. I lived in MA for a while — and it cured me of my romance w snow and ice and cold and wind FOREVER. I actually wear gloves in Los Angeles in the winter.

When it gets below zero, I can’t even think.

Bundle up tight. Better yet, stay inside by the fire!

People really have a tendency to stereotype.

Boomers are the generation that brought civil rights to a head — but they were the youngest of that group. The Greatest Generation had a lot to do w the success of civil rights, too.
