Trimming the Legislature

ADONAI, I totally agree, except I am uneasy with only one house. I agree with eliminating the
electoral college.
My biggest gripe is with no term limits. Personally, I would like to elect my representative for two years; with an option to extend for two more years. Every representative would face a term limit of a total of eight years.
I would also like to see eight year limits on SCOTUS.
How many incompetent or impaired judges have served for years beyond their capacity, because their ‘buddies’ have covered for them?
And HOW do we the people make these obviously unpopular changes??

What I Learned About Society From Costco

LOL! Caru- Costco shopping is one of the Great American Sports. I rarely eat the samples, unless it is cheese! (I’m a real rat when it comes to cheese, and have been known to pay ridiculous prices for too much cheese, after tasting.)
Costco doesn’t sell small anything, so if you buy cheese, it’s often 2# or more!
I buy coffee and paper goods, because I will never eat 5 lbs. of fish, or 2 four lb. chickens, or 10 lbs of ribs!
The challenge is to get thru the store without being run over by a luggage sized truck, or an old couple arguing over the price of 10 boxes of raisin bran! 😉

Weekend Music Thread – Prom Night

Holy Cow!! You went to Valpo???
You’re right about seeing nothing! These are the same seats the Magic boast about being only $10.00 making pro basketball affordable for all!!! They don’t mention $20 parking and $8 beer…and $10 personal pan pizzas!!
And they’re losing $1 1/2M a month..thanking the taxpayers for picking up the tab.
That’s why I don’t support the Magic..and Rich DeVos.

The last concert ticket I priced; the cheapest ticket was $65.00- and it was in the last 10 rows of the Top of the arena!
I decided the extra charge for oxygen would make it too expensive! 😉
