Still, there’ll be a pretty big reduction in the contracting fleet. The Defense Department currently has 9,500 security contractors in Iraq in addition to several thousand general life contractors, said ABC News. At one point, in June 2009, the DOD had 15,200 security contractors in the country. The State Department’s track record on controlling its contractors isn’t so great, as Spencer Ackerman reports: The State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security does not have a promising record when it comes to managing its mercenaries. The American Corporation might decide that it’s cheaper to move the ballpoint pen factory to America and hire American workers, therefore reducing the cost of shipping, and eliminating the tariff. The proposed congressional map cuts that to three. Pinal is a HUGE county and several years ago, believe it or not, we were a Democratic County, but that has changed. What do you think of this idea? From my understanding, it could result in 2 Republicans running against each other, or even though highly unlikely – 2 Democrats.
