The United States of America will never prosecute a president or former president for war crimes, as that would literally destroy our government, and that is a quote from my husband who is much more intelligent than I. To prosecute Bush and his cronies would be very dangerous to our country, as it would make us more like South American countries, and we just can’t do it, nor can the UK prosecute Blair. If they could prosecute Bush, they could then prosecute Clinton for Kosovo. I’m quoting my husband here, but we as an American gov’t do not prosecute our presidents for war crimes. It might even open it up to prosecuting Truman for Hiroshima, and ending WW2. He said something about Obama never expecting the Republicans to work so vehemently against everything. Powell’s interview was really quite good, and we rarely watch any Sunday morning talk shows.
