Ten days ago, a man tried stealing two cases of beer from a Circle K, and a customer stepped forward and told the guy to put it back. The guy did put it back, and then when he was leaving the store, a woman came in, and he smacked her and pistol whipped her, and the Good Samaritan stepped forward again, and the woman happened to be his wife. The criminal turned the gun on the Good Samaritan and killed him in front of his wife and mother. Okay, that’s a really sad part, but the good news is that the widow couldn’t make the payments on their car, so the car dealership, knowing the story, gave her the car. Wasn’t that a nice thing to do? It would shock you. We truly believe that it was fate, and that’s an awesome thing for two people to believe. We’ve been through so much, and it is awesomely cool that we play guitar and piano, and my husband plays harmonica. I know how lucky I am, and I am old enough, and have been through enough, to know how lucky we are. And we both know, how quickly that could change, so it makes us appreciate each other more. My husband grew up in a poor household, and I don’t think he’ll mind me telling this, but his mom had 7 children, and their father took off. They grew up poor in that there was no child support, and my mother-in-law is the most incredible woman in that she took care of all them kids, but anyway, the point is that my husband and I know the value of a dollar, and we’ve never lived high on the hog. LOL at all the sayings. We are lucky as a couple that we share the same beliefs when it comes to money, and we’re both scared as hell about credit, because we know the problems credit and over extending yourself can have.
