Another thing that my husband liked during that time was raw broccoli for some strange reason.
Oh, and in the summer, watermelon.
He used to eat watermelon like crazy.
And yeppers, ice-cream was a biggie and while he was losing weight, I was gaining weight, and isn’t there something about “matter is neither created or destroyed?”
I think he might have been a Congressman then, but he was in the shop that you can paint ceramics.
His wife, I think, was with him and she was working on something.
He’d lost a lot of weight at that point, and he was quite tall, and he wasn’t being swarmed or anything, but he seemed very congenial to those who were talking to him.
And my husband was carrying it and a group of gay guys walked by and they made several witty comments about my husband’s large manly map-carrying skills!
It was an hilarious moment and not related to JD at all!

Having just turned 39 myself 😉 , I recommend that you enjoy the last of your 30’s, because once you hit 40, it’s all downhill!
Our house is now in a cloud and the washes are flowing, and the wind is all over the place with heavy rain.
This is awesome and we are loving every minute of it!

My mother had the same thing, and some times I wonder if it’s genetic, even though they say it’s not.
The only thing they can do is give a cortisone shot directly into the joint, and my mom had that done once, and she said never again.
The shot was worse than the pain and it didn’t do much good.
I’ve had friends swear by chiropractors in helping them with pain, so am considering it.
You never know, right?
