There was my dad and his two-three english setters for hunting. And my stepmother with her three-four cats. I found myself enjoying all of them, but definitely trended dog as a couple of the cats were simply unbearable to be around. What’s funny is after my dad and stepmother separated, he remained cat free for several years, but ultimately broke down and rescued a cat from the pound. Winston, a jet-black cat with thumbs. No shit. He’s got an extra-large pad on the interior of his foot that he uses to grab things with. He can open a doorknob in nothing flat and drinks water out of his bowl by scooping it with his ridiculous feet. Participating property owners pay for only the costs of their energy project. The program is 100% “opt-in” and property tax expenses remain unchanged for those who choose not to participate. The result: solar and energy efficiency projects are paid for over a long period of time, in bi-annual installments. The interest rate is fixed. Property owners do not need to access their own capital or credit. And if the owner sells the property, the repayment obligation transfers along with the property itself.” Genius.
