I’m a big fan of nature photos (strictly as an admirer) and especially the big birds…but this is a whole ‘nuther level of intimacy you’ve captured here.

Men and countries still draw their greatest inspirations from conquest and war.
Since 7 B.C. man has vastly improved upon their militaries, navies, air based machinery and weapons development but the warring remains a fixation yet to be replaced with peaceful coexistence.
There seems to be an underlying lesson to be learned that century after century, we either refuse or do not have the faculties to take from all this repeated turmoil.
The problem however doesn’t exist in the logic, the ideals or the intent, however. It historically presents itself in ongoing practices.
Given that the very same people who benefit from the current state of affairs are either funding those who would or would not advocate prosecution…or are active members on the committees, panels and boards who need to move that action forward, I don’t see what would provide the incentive for any of them to do anything other than what they have shown us to be, their particular brand of ‘business as usual’.
While I applaud the ideals, I can’t fathom what would change the current rules the game is being played under.
Legislators and politicians of either party still win elections and re-election whether or not they have had a part in the scams eroding the economy (in fact or otherwise)…the CEOs and international banking still make huge profits due in large part to the erosion of the economy(in fact or otherwise) and asking any of these people to refrain from lining their pockets at the expense of the American people hasn’t worked at all or there would have been marked improvement in our economy and treasury without the occasional military intervention every 10-20 years to keep us afloat.
Please don’t misread my comment. I’m not raising an argument against anything in your article. Anyone who has spent the time to outline their well thought observations on a subject as large as this should be commended for their contribution to the discussion taking place on the ongoing blight of our times and our country…And I thank you for doing so.
I just can’t see the incentives for the people causing our dilemma or profiting from it, to have a change of conscience or alter from the course they’ve taken so long (nearly 100 years) to make successful for themselves.
Besides, what we say that doesn’t quite work for some will go a long way toward giving the next person who gets it and tries to explain it, a whole lot more options than just their own to get the point(s) across.
Speak the truth and you’ve done all that can possibly ever be expected of you.
At this stage of the game the importance needs to be put on everyone simply speaking the same language and getting outside of the box together if anything constructive will ever be accomplished.

Control the information that is given to the public and you control the public.
Control how history is written and you control the past. Control the past and you control the present.
Control the present and you get first ‘dibs’ on controlling the future.
If this is no longer the keystone of our country and system, then it needs to be rebuilt and reestablished by these laws that have been diluted through fallacy and made mutant to the point of aberration.
Failing this, or losing that keystone (as wistful as it may seem) whatever we have right now is but the best of what we might ever expect.

Whether the guilty parties are currently in office or not, they should be held accountable by law for the negligence and malfeasance just as anyone (Madoff, Petters) would be.
To allow the past or present stewards of this government unaccountability for the sale of this nation’s treasury to the international central banking cartel is to invite this nation’s erosion.
Can it be called anything less than financial espionage and treason?
