I don’t think that as yet this person exists.
Which is why I continue to blather into whatever empty well I can lean into.
I hardly expect much from it in my life experience. But one can never tell what effect it may have should the right person hear the echo.

You think it might be time for us to start singing another song to government and begin seriously reining in the CIA rather than ignoring it completely and chasing our military which is generally deployed after the damage has been done to the international community and our burgeoning deficit at home?

Unfortunately,I’m not so much of the Utopian to think for a minute that my perspectives will be the ones to shape the world we live in in my life time.
People with perspectives much closer to yours (not a snark) still have a long way to go towards having their say and attempting to make the order they envision. I just happen to think it contributes to the chaos englufing us.
Then too, a wise man named Ghandi did say: “Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.”
I hold on to that in this losing game for me.
As much as I like to believe the first generation of crews working on the pyramids did. Even that control paradigm morphed into something else given enough time.

I,(in my most idealistic moments and heart of heart)see this as a one people planet.
By 2050 official estimates place the worlds population at 9 billion souls in need of space and nourishment.
Armed people with barricades and truncheons and more control will not be the solution.
The order of the universe is chaos and flux.
Man’s propensity to try and establish order from the universal order is where genuine chaos is stemming from.
New approaches and perhaps the recognition of the family of man, may prove to be that approach.
My sympathies lie with the disenfranchised. Not with the messengers of control.

Really, all you had to to do was slap down a document you dreamed up such as “the document of discovery” and you could simply extinguish the rights, customs and property of all the indigenous people who had already been living there.

I imagine they considered building a length of wall to keep out the immigrants…but learned from the US how stupid and ineffective that project would be.

“Happy Bay Of Pigs Invasion” just doesn’t quite capture the history of the occasion or a day of merriment and celebration.
But then again, Passover (or Pesach) begins this weekend and not being a follower I never know how to wish my Jewish friends a joyous holiday.
I don’t really know if “Happy Passover” encapsulates the history of the event. And “Happy remembrance of your ancestral peoples struggle” doesn’t quite cut it either.
Ah, well to the Cubans and the Jews, “Enjoy your…selves!”
It doesn’t really get you anywhere but it slows everything down in order to help bring things to a stand still.
Elsewhere in Egypt, 20 Governors have been incarcerated and replaced with new faces, pretty much changing the face of how the government over there is being run. So it would appear there are options available for people should they take a lesson from all this and decide it’s time to literally clean house in our own Congress at some point and want to do more than simply bitch about it.
Just something to think about…I’m not suggesting it would be easy and trouble free. But if the Egyptian people have managed it, it evidently can be done.

But then I wouldn’t expect rationality from people who find their creativity through fear and hate.
But an underlying cause rests with the societies we live in in this day and age.
Many people direct people (kids and the elderly for prime example) to seek medication as a numbing agent. Not so much to numb the patient, but to numb those insisting on the delivery of medication for them so they can avoid and be numbed to the often very real pain, discomfort and disease of the person they may be securig medication for.
People don’t seem to have (or want) to take the time anymore to associate with the problems of the geriatric or the wayward child or teen.
The thought being conveyed seems to me to be, that it’s best to sedate, perk up or anesthetize our friends and families to the point where they are manageable and less inconvenient for us. The time spent in actually spending time on sorting out minor behavioral idiosyncrasies with family and friends, not to mention the emotional tolls involved is not necessarily the stuff that todays family or associative relationships are about.
And of course the pharms are more than willing to help supply whatever people may think they need to do that.
The real numbing agents however are generally administered not for the patient…but those they share space with.
We have in this and many ways become detached from one another and drugs are a means to maintain that ease and distancing.
These “lunatics” are voting their agenda and not the voice of the American people as a whole. They couldn’t give a rip about the will of the American (not just Republicrat or Democlican* people.
They are about as aware of what the people of this country want as a man born blind is about the color green.
And it isn’t likely that this will change as long as the impetus they use to represent the people is greed, control, power and pompous self gratification.
