I believe he does think about this and I believe that he has more information about the risks going forward. The Taliban live in Pakistan which has nuclear weapons. I just think there’s security issues that (Israel or not) that we aren’t thinking about.

NOt that I agree. I’m just saying that there is a whole game that we don’t understand.

I like to think that Obama has given the world a new image: smart, thoughtful, non reactionary no matter what side, pragmatic, forward thinking, wanting to raise the country’s educational, health, and economic standards and to reach out in a non-super power pose.

I would share him and I believe he would share himself even further if he could.

How the F does a group of a few influence the world? What have we done? And why do we persist? I mean that this guy has any attention whatsoever is mindblowing. Do we need legislation that says provocative news could be found criminal?

Bito: I’m stunned. The 3 times a judge has to issue an order; publishing legislation and calling it law against a restraining order. This fool, who has a vacation home in Iron River, WI to support along with seven kids, can’t even begin to understand that saying $174,000 is tough to people making $30,000 a year–with family to support.

Eric Cantor (Cant’r) proposing that if a budget isn’t passed, his becomes law. How much are we as a country will to take of this absurdity?

yep. We are so pet lonely–they all left us in a years time–2 dogs and a great cat. We are so struggling with muddy feet. pee cleaning and how great they are. We have a hole in our hearts.

Late to your comment, but the Supremes are hearing arguments on whether lying is protected as freedom of speech. My trust level is pretty low on this.

Ted Koppel was CNN Sunday with Howard Kurtz. He said in a democracy, an uniformed electorate is it’s greatest danger. I agree.

Hi LD9. Glad to be here but intimidated by the wealth of knowledge here. I wish we would support more emphasis on language. If US kids knew the world, we might raise a enough adults to make a difference.

There are so many sad events, thoughts, feelings in our world today. I think we are fighting the same fight that brought us to the “dark ages” were books were burned and religion destroyed science. so many superb ideas could not find their way then but they did survive and advance. I can’t understand why we would want to relive the dark ages for any reason. We have to find a way to bring these frightened, angry people to the present with an eye to the future.

I really enjoy your thinking and how you express your feelings.

Is this a trick question? ;-). Actually, I was realizing that if Palin gets 20-30% of the vote one would assume that a equally “limited” Democratic candidate would also get a 20-30% vote. That means 40-60% of the voters are not smart. That’s some bad math!
