Great article AdLib! You did a great job of summarizing the last several years over there. I used to really love going there, so many great ppl to laugh with and learn from.

My simplistic theory is that the corporations are smart enough to take advantage of the narrow minded views of certain white Americans. Some may call them racists and seeing their signs and interviews it is difficult not to share that view.

Bottom line IMO Smart, rich corporations taking advantage of low information voters, who seemingly will do the rich guy’s bidding.

Lot’s of ridiculous troll stories abound, but this was my favorite.

Some mouthy troll who had been busy typing Beckisms all morning, suddenly announces he is going to work and scolds all of us for his assumption that we were all unemployed.

Thirty minutes later, swear to gawd, he is back posting his blathering. I called him out and next thing ya know there is a
“new sock” posting the same blatherings.

Twiddle dee.

I am more and more of the theory that Arianna pays these guys for comments and hits.

Could never type that over there – tried many times.

Always smugly proud of only having the 100 fan badge. They took my pundit badge away after my immediate ridicule of it. Didn’t flag enough or attach to Facebook to get any of the other tiaras.
