Hi bito darlin’! Hey – I am FINE with right-to-work laws SO LONG AS anyone who does not join a union also get NO benefits from the negotiated pay and hours and benefits agreements. You want to opt out? Fine and dandy. You are on your own. Just negotiate with your boss and see how well THAT works out! No “free riders” as Romney says about people without health care coverage. No “free riders” on the backs of union people!!!!

I have SOME sympathy – one of my books got co-opted by Amazon and the majority of it put online. I don’t get squat from it, so getting squt-minus did not thrill me. But I understand the law pertain to only overseas companies purloining our stuff? I admit I’m not Paying Attention. Obama has criticized the laws, so I figure most of it won’t pass. But I do NOT want for-profit stuff (even my book from which I get a whopping $20 per year) to trump PlanetPOV and links to stuff. I am overwhelmed with other issues – I leave it to y’all to tell me what’s what.

You might if employees OWNED Apple and made the investment decisions. And if you stopped the freaking write down that gives them CASH back to move AND the money that funds the move, then there is a balancing out of low wages vs. government handouts. Plus – China demands access to the patents of very company that produces there. This is dangerous to us. THEY have the capacity to produce our stuff on their own without US capital.

Oh goodie – lets give corporations ANOTHER tax cut when they barely pay taxes NOW. Government FUNDS their moves overseas. No corporation pays anything at all like 35%! Only people pay that. THIS is what Santorum thinks will “revive” industry when they moved because of favorable tax rates not because of bad ones.

Any state that loves Newt cannot be some place I wish to live. I fell in love with Charleston when I was there. NOTHING can induce me to live there. It’s not just conservative. It’s out of touch with reality and fundamental democratic values.

My ex knows Newt’s ex. She said this four years ago – he wanted an open marriage so he could bang Callista but stay married to what’s her name. Since this began when Marianne (?) got MS, Callista needs to pray for GOOD HEALTH. She’s not young anymore, so she better be thin, rich, and with NO health problems. Otherwise – Newt goes South again. (Anyone have info on whether he has had OTHER affairs??? I heard yes.)

And everything we care about – Social Security, Medicare, VA, etc, – is ALL protected against cuts. The cuts to Defense are stupid and unworkable weapons and aircraft. Wasteful war actions with private contracts. Troops overseas where we have no business going. That is why they are dragging out Cold War analogies.

Suicides are coming from delegating vets to CHAPLAINS instead of psychologists and psychiatrists. Chaplains of the Dominionist persuasion tell vets that if they were Good Christians they’d not be bothered by what the saw, what they did. It’s not working.

BTW – we are NOT cutting VA benefits – they are part of the protected groups of funds!!!!!! The cuts to the military are for weapons etc., NOT for VA benefits! LIES!!!
