Time Out for OT – Vol 11

Well, this report flew way, way, way under the radar…I wonder why?

Scary New Wage Data
Now for some really scary breaking news, from the latest payroll tax data.

Every 34th wage earner in America in 2008 went all of 2009 without earning a single dollar, new data from the Social Security Administration show. Total wages, median wages, and average wages all declined, but at the very top, salaries grew more than fivefold.

Not a single news organization reported this data when it was released October 15, searches of Google and the Nexis databases show. Nor did any blog, so the citizen journalists and professional economists did no better than the newsroom pros in reporting this basic information about our economy.

Either a toxic landfill or they were deprived of oxygen at birth, kes. All are a detriment to this state, oh and let’s not forget the tan man.

kes,

Kasich was my Congressman years ago, and he was a good guy. He had a little place in Westerville OH. Then he married money. πŸ˜‰ The Dispatch had a bio thing on both candidate’s wives awhile ago. Basically, his wife said “I’m here for my man and he walks on water.” YUCK!!! I think she’s 10-11 years his junior too.

He did work on Wall Street/Lehman Brothers and totally screwed up the State Pension Fund; almost as bad as Tom Noe, the coins, and the BWC debacle.

Patsy,

I think bito meant David, especially if he’s hangin’ out with Andrea Mitchell… “birds of a feather”.

Maybe he’ll be shamed into resigning. I doubt it though, he had no shame as he threw Anita Hill under the bus. The sad thing about all of it is the way she was treated as she testified. And, he lied, plain as day, the bastard lied, ruined her life, and laughed all the way to the bench.

Okey dokey now,

1) So I lose credibility – can’t be any worse than the MSM — how do we really feel about MSM, NPR, O’Reilly, and Juan Williams?

2) Was Mr. Williams playing both sides against the middle?

3) Does the fact he was an independent contractor with NPR give him more latitude than if he were solely under the employ of NPR? Doubt it.

4) Does his 2 year, 3K contract (sorry I might have it reversed) with Faux News damage his credibility? Absolutely.

5) Is he related to Mr. Steele? Probably.

5) Does NPR have a leg to stand on and does this organization have more cajonnes than PBS’s sucking up to the Koch bros?

Personally? This is how I feel…

What goes around, comes around, and all of the liars, cheats, and “take advantage of the poor and middle-class-entrepreneurs” will pay in the end. Count on it.

Patsy,

Done and also posted to my Facebook page.

You’ve hidden behind your Justice robe for too long and now you’re hiding behind your wife’s skirt.

By the way, how was the party with the Koch brothers?

BREAKING: Shortly after secret meeting with Koch network, Beck cited Charles Koch on-air
October 20, 2010 11:23 am ET by Ben Dimiero

This morning, the New York Times and Think Progress broke news that Koch Industries, the conservative/libertarian manufacturing conglomerate headed up by billionaires Charles and David Koch, is planning a meeting in January to “develop strategies to counter the most severe threats facing our free society and outline a vision of how we can foster a renewal of American free enterprise and prosperity.”

As reported by the Times, the “Koch network meets twice a year to plan and expand its efforts.” Their most recent meeting took place in Aspen, Colorado, in June of this year to strategize about the upcoming elections, and featured none other than Fox News’ own Glenn Beck, who gave a talk about whether America is on the “Road to Serfdom.”

The Aspen meeting took place the weekend of June 26-27. On Tuesday, June 29, Beck attacked Al Gore and his film An Inconvenient Truth on his Fox News program. In the middle of his screed about climate science and GDP, Beck said: “I want to thank Charles Koch for this information.”

Ah, but 8 years of the last decade were signed, sealed, and delivered by Bush&Co, a subsidiary of all the high rollers in this country.

Such dishonesty and greed is disgusting, and I still wonder how these guys can sleep at night. Ooops, I forgot, none of them have a conscience.
