Where does he get off calling someone “out of touch” and “clueless.” This is too good. http://thinkprogress.org/2009/12/09/steele-deutsch-questions/ Must have missed the GOP HC plan. “Now where did we put that?” » Posted By bito On December 9, 2009 @ 9:17 am j’avaz, Do we “own” the site today? 😀 » Posted By bito On December 5, 2009 @ 10:50 am On the bill on mammogram services the vote was 61-39. » Posted By bito On December 5, 2009 @ 10:31 am Nellie, That was my thought. Do we need to find that little nun? » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 2:46 pm An observation on today’s news. While watching the amendment votes on the HC Bill, I keep noticing that Nelson and Lieberman keep voting with the GOP. Including ones that send the bill back to committee! » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 2:06 pm O/T We are certainly blessed today with so many good posts. Good Job, everyone! » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 12:42 pm From the story: “Then there » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 12:15 pm Re: redistricting. AZ went to a commission to do the job and took it out of the hands of the legislature. They are also still under Federal jurisdiction (civil rights) so everything has to go through the courts. The House seats last time went 5-3 for the Dems, but the sate gov is still controlled by the GOP. I think(?) this is a better system. All depends on who appoints the commission. » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 12:10 pm ~blush~ » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 12:01 pm Good Job, nellie, I will have to spend the day reading these. Not sure if there is one to skip over. » Posted By bito On December 4, 2009 @ 11:01 am LOL. that had to have been photoshopped » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 6:14 pm Grabamop, You ask why this isn’t bigger news? Let me tell you Chris Matthews just had a big scoop (and took 25 mins. on it) Two uninvited guests got into the state dinner!!! WOW! » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 4:30 pm Thanks for asking javaz, enough NyQuil will make anyone “feel” better. ~smile~ » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 3:59 pm Javaz, he would not have been in Washington had Huck not pardoned him. Yes, what Washington State did was inexcusable. » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 3:16 pm If the guy would have killed a few more (heaven forbid), would he have been a terrorist? Then for sure it would have been Obama’s fault. » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 3:11 pm I have read a few articles on this around the web this morning. Seems his daughter is saying “yeah, but Washington State screwed up too” It will be Prez. Obama’s fault in 5…4…3… » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 11:41 am Good job AdLib. » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 3:00 pm Monk, What was the line when they were collecting art? “Keep an eye out for a good nose”? Like you said that movie had so many lines! Thanks for reminding me of the parking ticket. » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 12:51 pm An example: a cult movie that plays in every college town, every Sat.night for $1,for years vs. one that plays for 5 weeks a $12. Which one is listed as the money maker? (the letter I am trying to write, and then flashing back here, is going to be a doozy.) ) » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 10:36 am Now that you mention it, that was probably true. » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 10:16 am K7, that’s one thing that gets me about box office “record setters”. They don’t count the warm butts in the seats, they count how much they make in dollars. » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 10:12 am Except you felt like a mole. Spend 8-10 hrs in a dimly lit building, and squint if you saw daylight. 🙂 » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 8:26 am In a previous life time I was a film editor (timing)and watched many a good movie-I think.~chuckle. When I went to the movies I was always looking at the technicalities of the movie and missing the movie. Monday morning coffee breaks were not about how the movie was but things like…”did you see that pop on the end of that fade in the ….” Took a few years to get over that. 😉 » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 8:08 am The line about the Mama bear swatting the cubs is so true. I was living in the Upper Peninsula of Mich. at the time. One morning on the way to work a Mama Bear and two cubs were slow trotting across the road we stopped, turned off the truck and watched them. Those little cubs are cute and comical. Seconds later we heard this wailing from the woods, Mama comes running back across the road. Out comes another cub from the wood with Mama swatting the guy across the butt! Reminded me when I was a tyke with my own mother. “I told you to stay with me! Now get across the road!!” » Posted By bito On November 30, 2009 @ 1:30 pm The Earworms Are Coming! After the GOP spent many fear-mongering days about “women won’t be able to get mammograms, only three of them voted for the amendment to assure that they will have the service. Collins, Snowe an d VITTER. (did Vitter get to much flack on his rape vote?)
One Dem voted nay. Ta-Ta-Ta-Da! NELSON! (d-NE)

And they caucus with the Dems?
Next story Tiger Woods!
(whoops, wrong “religion”)
I say, “hey, Huck, Why did you let him out of prison to be able to move to Washington?”
Quite the memory for me.
We laughed about that all day at work.
You got it Willie Nelson.
