Thank you Coveark…..the Girl Scouts would have run but I was an excellent tracker as long as there wasn’t a merit badge in it…. ; )

Hiya Zenith. I took away some really cool things from the Boy Scouts I just wasn’t into the goals end of it. I simply liked camping and hiking. The badges were never a goal for me and after a while it was kind of cool to be the only Scout with nothing to show for it.

At least that is what I tell myself…. ; )

Thank you Abyss. I have several friends that were Eagle scouts and they can’t understand how anyone could have been a part of something for so long and accomplished so little. Hey I was good at soap carving just never made it out of the tub in time to display them.

Your boys sound infinitely smarter than me and that is to their credit. Your nephews will be alright….. ; )

Well…well…well. So this is where all the great posters have fled to. Damn! This looks like the old days! Been hanging at Jack’s and HP and wondering about you guys. I am a slow learner….just ask my teachers they gave up on me after 4th grade and it shows. But enough about my inadequacies….I have been coming here to read but I haven’t posted yet…this is the first!

Wait is this a post or a comment? I have read a lot of fine articles from many of the superb posters I followed religiously on HP and now on POV but I have yet to stick my oar in. You guys have a very high bar over here….my snark and satire seems pretty shallow by comparison but I will post something about a lost love or a muscle car I totaled because I dropped a beer….as soon as I figure this place out. Until then…got to run. I will be back and that is a threat. Who does the banning around here….I am sure we will become well acquainted.
