As the RNC is preparing to launch their national convention next week, many of them are, of course, criticizing the Democratic convention. It will be interesting to see how republicans address diversity at their convention. I am not very familiar with Alveda King, one of MLK’s nieces, but she is apparently a friend of Fox and Friends as well as a supporter of trump. I came across a video of her criticizing leaders of the Democratic Party for not condemning violence at many of the Black Lives Matter protests. By all means, Mrs. King has a right to her opinions and her points of view just like everyone else, regardless of party affiliation. As I was watching the video with Mrs. King, I was reminded of John Legend’s and Common’s video of the song “Glory”. I couldn’t find the video of Mrs. King condemning the Democrat’s convention on Youtube, but I found one of her having a similar discussion, so I will post a video of what appears to be her position on racism and BLM.
Now here is John Legend’s and Common’s “Glory” that kind of explains the specificity of Black Lives Matter. The so-called distraction are the phrases “All lives matter”, “Blue lives matter” and others. OF COURSE ALL LIVE MATTERS! HOWERVER, all lives have not been treated like black lives in the United States of America. At least we are having the discussion.

Another huge consideration to Mueller was the OLC’s policy on not indicting a sitting president. Mueller actually mentioned Don, Jr.’s meeting with the Russian attorney as conspiracy.
