You can bet on it, pretty amazing huh? And I bet it would not surprise you that the majority of grants given out were to Evangelicals not other religions. Yet no one calls for dismantling this department.
Is it any wonder that other civilized countries think we are barbaric? This notion of guns has been taken way too far. These tea partiers seem to want lawlessness on our streets but would probably be the first ones to step back with their hands up saying “whoa what happened here?”. Never once admitting their culpability. On the other hand if it is one of theirs who is caught in the crossfire, how do they answer that one?

Don’t let it get you down. This is just one person’s opinion and you know what they say about that one. I am reading all of these news stories and the boob tube with a grain of salt. If it happens and they sabotage HCR, I think they will find a big surprise in NOv and they will be voted out. I don’t think alot of the congress has the pulse of the American people. The challenger, Bill ? from Arkansas, was on Hardball yesterday and he said the same thing. At the state level he probably has a better idea of what his constituents want and he says the support is out there. If the members of congress cannot read their constituents, the constituents will provide them a big surprise in Nov………….
Great post and maybe that is what we all need to do, “make him do it”. Not by critizing policy but by offering solutions, by making our voices heard. Get out in front of CBS, NBC, Rassmussen, CNN polls and prove that a cross-section of 1000 peope do not speak for the whole of America. Polls are good for pundits to debate their merits, but I fail to see how polling 1000 people can determine the mood and wants of the entire nation. No one ever reviews the questions asked, were they skewed to get a certain result? I think most are. Polls are good for elections because how many ways can you ask who a person will vote for but in the case of legislation as sweeping as this, polls do not mean alot to me unless I know what and how the questions were asked.

I watched this show and thought it had a tather bizarre stilted atmosphere. Too many technical issues to see the show in it’s actual true succession.
And Bill fawing all over Hairyanna absolutely made me sick.
