Time Out for OT – Vol 7

No wonder Bush regulators looked the other way while the banks and investment houses were gambling away all of our money.

I jsut sent this out in an email………..my conservative friends will go ballistic on me LOL. They do the same all the time so turn about is fair play.

I think they are trying to temper the public’s wariness of more out there, especially if they are not being assigned/given the manpower to work this completely. It is an inherent problem with law enforcement that One Police Plaza makes the decisions without being active in the field.

Also “I will apply, for the benefit of the sick…..” It does not imply the rich sick or the covered sick but “all measures that are required…..”

Ok I know this is from “that” other site, but the speech Prez gave in Maine on Healthcare is superb. He had the crowd going………..

It is worth a listen

I am laughing because Ron Paul has not practiced medicine since the 60’s and 70’s. And where on earth do you find a doctor who will come out to your house and only charge you $35 or so? I was also not aware that the IRS carried guns. Geez I better pay my taxes this month, I would hate to open my door to an “armed IRS agent”. Wonder if they put the gun in the pocket protector they have on their shirt pocket?

This is the same judge who was on the Prop 8 case brought against the originators of the proposition early this year.

NRO holds symposium to discuss if black people are really suffering more in the job market during this recession. One problem, apparently no blacks were included in the discussion. Way to be open and inclusive there, NRO.

The worst part for sure is drining the Go Litely. The procedure is nothing compared to the pre-process. I have to do it next week and I am dreading the go litely but not the actual procedure. I had one about 7 years ago.

Bito
That comes into play only when it is the woman who committed it, and then stoning would commence.

» Posted By SueInCa On March 31, 2010 @ 1:16 pm

Tanks, Bito. I will take a listen. Hope you are doing ok today. I saw where they told you to cut your hair. My friend Amy told me they told her that in order to diminish the shack factor when her hair started to fall out. Her short haircut looked fabulous on her and her head wraps I thought were a bold fashion statement.

Signed sealed delivered. I hope there will be another against the newly announced off-shore drilling policy. This is where the President and I differ. When was the last time Big Oil ever protected the environment over their drilling profits?

Well good night everyone. I have to get some homework done……

» Posted By SueInCa On March 30, 2010 @ 7:15 pm

Bito
That only seems fair to me. I cannot even begin to know how it feels but I know my friend Amy was in bad shape from being sick from the chemo. My mom had radiation twice but no chemo. She is now 81 years old and has not had a recurrance in 7 years.

Boomer
he already has stock in tanning booths and probably grey goose vodka as well

» Posted By SueInCa On March 30, 2010 @ 6:51 pm

I would hate to see him about 10 years from now…..

» Posted By SueInCa On March 30, 2010 @ 6:50 pm

Gee Boomer what will we do for fun if Boner does not make it back to congress? Will he give up his tanning booth or will he just go to work as a lobbyist?

» Posted By SueInCa On March 30, 2010 @ 6:14 pm

OMG reverse rascism, typical white rant. If you can make the leap from light-skinned americans trying to be dark to rascism, you must be a redneck.

» Posted By SueInCa On March 30, 2010 @ 5:26 pm

Hey Bito Good thing they are treating you well. It is important to have the meds to cope with the effects of the chemo. I sat with my friend after her chemo treatments and they gave her nothing to help, it was so hard to see her suffer like that.

Cher, thanks for finding and posting this. I have got to learn your daily schedule of perusing the Internet. I though Blow’s op ed, only one page long, was as good if not better than Rich’s. I sent him an email congratulating him on speaking out.

Because the religious right will always find a way to break their “family values” promise if it suits their agenda. they will ignore this because they cannot admit that their rhetoric has given birth to the anit-American sentiment.

Thanks Nellie, I will give that site a go round.

It happens to me too. My problem is struggling for the right words in which to frame a thought and I end up getting hung up on proper grammar…….like you, I have alot of open documents and my journal notes around me. Lately I have taken to writing notes as I am reading a publication. I have journals all over the house but I keep specific notes in a single journal with the title of the book or essay and have been pretty disciplined at that. It helps in not having to go back through a particular book and find a quote or idea that struck me as pertinent.

LOL he is just admitting what we all knew.

Jorge Ramos on Univision takes on Lou Dobbs and Dobbs mistakenly(IMHO) tries to make Jorge look like a fool. He was just asking questions and correcting him on his statements. Not sure this did anything for his image with Latinos LOL

You all can have the Malto Meal, I eat grits. And the Hamburger Helper, we tell my grandson when I serve shephards pie that it is hamburger helper so he will eat it LOL. I make it with gb, mashed potatoes and cheese on top. NO VEGGIES, I don’t like to mix my vegatables in a dish. I also won’t let them touch anything else on my plate.
