I did not mean to imply that the Common Cause protest was not effective in outing the Kochs, just that a sustained movement following them would really grab the attention of the US as a whole.
I believe they are still in effect. I believe it was in 2009 someone ws protesting at Lafayette Park across from the WH and they were forced to leave because they did not have a permit. In the article it said the organizer tried to get a permit and was denied by the DC city manager. It may not be enforced in every town but it is still enforced at least in DC. Of course they may pick and choose who they harass.

Living in Boston and being a professor at Boston U never stopped Howard Zinn from organizing and leading protests. West could learn a thing or two from Zinn. I know I did.

this is where we are not soul sisters. lol. Sure their presence helps bring attention to the cause but I just feel they are doing so for their own noteriety. they are both still respected leaders in their fields and they could lend credence by going back to their home bases and spreading the protest. But my feeling is they will not and eventually it will die right there on WS. Call me cynical, yes I am.
