Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

The guy in Howard Lake retired some years ago. Him and his wife ran it. They eventually sold it to someone else. I think it’s called either Wheel by Bordean or Cartmakers of Minnesota(now). Minnesota was one of my 3 favorite places to live. Do you also make your own tools? Personally, I find a certain satisfaction from working with tools that I have made (for whatever project). It’s right up there with touching something a real craftsman has created. Where the work says so much more than merely having a name stamped on the side ever could.

Here’s something I’ve never quite understood. Given the number of Republicans that are busted doing the very things they set themselves most against, why don’t journalists, or really anyone, investigate each one for that one things they fight against(corruption, what they consider immoral acts, etc)?

You live in one of the best states to be a woodworker. I once had the privilege of working for a cart-maker/wheelwright there (Howard Lake). It’s also the home of Plato.

KB723: So as not to distract from the piece you were on. For your art, what kind of materials do you need? I have some experience with having to acquire my own materials for art pieces and private pieces that people have ordered from me in the past. Perhaps I can offer some help in that (naming resources).
