Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

Boy, that’s a real “dead-ass”.

» Posted By SallyT On May 5, 2011 @ 5:41 pm

🙂 I try to have your back, Funk.

» Posted By SallyT On May 5, 2011 @ 5:38 pm

Nah, you would have a real problem with PETA.

» Posted By SallyT On May 5, 2011 @ 5:29 pm

Wow, strippers and gold bullion. Sticking that in your G-String is really going to weigh you down.

All kidding aside, if you live in an earthquake zone, you should have a supply of water and an emergency kit. Just good sense.

As I told Abby earlier:

I once described myself to someone: I am a woman that is part Scottish, Irish, French, German and Native American. When you put that all together you get:
A person who is tight with their money,
Enjoys a good drink,
Loves to love,
Has a temper
and is entitled to go on the warpath atleast once a month.

With that discription I probably insulted half of all citizens. But, I feel I can call myself as I see me.

I think I will do as the Associated Press and pass. I will let you all fill me in if anything is worth hearing.

Boy, what a stretch to make 5 points to nowhere.

» Posted By SallyT On May 5, 2011 @ 2:59 am

He does. They had to redo the previews because the first one that came out was a little to ris K they thought.

I can’t wait to see the movie Hangover II. Okay, that came from me just seeing a commercial for the movie. I will have to wait until it gets to HBO but I can’t wait.

Okay, I am refraining here, as Jake the Snake, my husband happens to work for the world’s largest garbage company. And, he is a teamster with wonderful benefits that have kept his wife alive.

Coming out of Texas, well, enough said. Some people just can’t get pass hate. Bad, sad, and just stupid.

Very nice. I remember how they chose not to show affection between the President and First Lady in the past. In fact, it was many years after both his and her death that they published a photo of President Kennedy with his arm around Jackie. Also, not to many years ago, they found tape of Jack helping and supporting Jackie into the car that would carry him away from her and us. (it was published as a rare moment of affection caught on tape)

Okay, as always, you are ahead of me.

» Posted By SallyT On May 4, 2011 @ 4:58 pm

On HP they have the photos of the other dead bodies at the compound. Reuters published them. Very bloody and, well, enough for me.

WeAreOne, you only care because you want me to read the long articles and give you a summary. Oh, well, I will take the attention anywhere I can get it. Thank you and you may sleep when you need to.

Not all of us but no one cares a hoot about anything I have to say. I stay up very late as I am currently bedridden and keep refreshing and refreshing but no one cares to respond. So, I am left to go to that other place, but, at that time of the night/day all that are there are the trolls. Whats a person to do?

» Posted By SallyT On May 4, 2011 @ 3:47 pm

Just a heads up to you that might care. Rachel Maddow is on Jon Stewart’s show tonight. Might be a good one to watch. I love how when she is on Real Time with Bill Mahuer, the audience always goes wild when she is introduced. I am sure she will get that same reception on that show, too.

I like to take a teaspoon of this one and a tablespoon of that one and maybe a full cup of another and see if I like the recipe. From that I will bake and decide whether or not I want to eat the damn thing when it is done.

Good one!

» Posted By SallyT On May 1, 2011 @ 8:34 pm

They are deciding on which blonde to make the annoucement.

» Posted By SallyT On May 1, 2011 @ 8:22 pm

President Obama, you don’t need to put on a flight suit but you can now say:
Mission Accomplished.

» Posted By SallyT On May 1, 2011 @ 8:18 pm

“WAKE UP, WAKE UP, Mr. President. You have a fucking big annoucement to make!” yells Biden.

Very true about the infants and that is a contribute to Medicaid and Plan Parenthood. Before Medicare, the older people didn’t have healthcare for the most part. I remember seeing an old campaign film for President Kennedy and Jackie was telling the interviewer that we needed to take care of our parents and the aging and give them healthcare. (was one of her husbands campaign promises) Gee, I remember when healthcare was non-profit. (BCBS) I just wish one of those people standing up in those townhalls would throw that back at them on the old “living longer” excuse. Thank you for responding.

Hi Everyone! I was watching Real Time with Bill Maher tonight and I was too late to get a question in for Overtime with Bill Maher. But, I have one, two, three:
Tonight on his show, Mark McKinnon stated that we needed to re-address Medicare. His reasoning was that Medicare was inacted in 1962 and now we are living 15 years longer. Well, could we be living 15 years longer now because we have had Medicare for the aging? Could Medicare be a contributor for our longer life span? Pushing Medicare out further, might that result in people dying before they qualify for it?
I really do think that healthcare for the aging has lead to us living longer and Social Security has also contribute to our life span. Am I silly for thinking this needs to be said? I mean, do we now screw over the aging because we have let them live longer? Okay, I am one of those aged but I don’t ask just for me. I ask for the people 55 and YOUNGER. They would be affected in that regard. They don’t want to kill grandma, they want you not to be one! (I know, that may have been too much, but you get my point.) I am just bothered and needed to shout out. Sorry, you all got my frustration taken out on you.

I was already on board with the unions and always with the minorities but pissing me off about birthcontrol has put my teeth in pain. In pain from gritting them.

I hope people don’t forget come 2012.

When I was working, I remember many times our IP Manager running in and telling all of us to “shut it down and reboot”! Of course, he was referring to our computers. Does our government work the same way? I mean, we shut down the computer and immediately rebooted our computers and off we went with everything working just fine. I don’t think our government will work that way. Starting back up and everything working just fine………….don’t think so………………..
Many things going on with these budget arguments are frustrating not to just those involved in making them and voting on them. But, do they realize who their decision really affect?
Primarily, all these “white” men standing there making decisions that have nothing to do with their body or their health. Planned Parenthood is not a budget issue. Cutting it is .003% of the budget. BUT, that minimun % will affect millions of woman in this country. Rediculous and shameful. These same people that think they know what is best for us because their belief’s are the correct ones, are the same people that despise Muslems for their suppose mistreatment of their women. Duh, they wish to have the power to treat their women the same way. Keep us barefoot and pregnant, uneducated, and depend on them for everything.
Well, we have come a long way, baby and although I am old, I sure as hell ain’t going backwards. And, I don’t believe that the majority of the women in this country will either.
Planned Parenthood is valuable to so many women, not just for abortion (although that is someones personal decision and no one elses) but for many medical issues viable to women and even men. These men do not want you to have access to abortion or birthcontrol. BUT, they do not want to provide any benefits to these babies once they are born. No healthcare, no education, no housing and no food subsidies.
The weaker they can keep us, the more they can drive us in their desired direction and their desired needs from us for them.
Shut down and reboot. Boot them in the ass and kick them to the curb. I am just so sad that we have to wait until 2012. Until then, lets yell as much as we can. IF WE REBOOT, IT BETTER DAMN WELL WORK JUST FINE!

Abby, I have a Toshiba Satellite and I am very happy with it. I have had a Dell in the past but I like the Toshiba better. And, the price is great, too.

That’s twisted!

» Posted By SallyT On February 26, 2011 @ 6:13 pm

Thank you. I will watch for your article. I am religious. I worship our earth. Not organized religion. There is something to that Mother Nature. She can be happy or she can get pissed off. I think I will go hug a tree….
