I don’t think I have ever shared this story with you before but I think it is approprate on here tonight. When Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin were running for POTUS, my grown daughter went to a halloween party at one of the city’s popular bars. They had a contest for the scarest costume. She was up on the stage with a green monster, space alien, zombie, Texas Chainsaw, vampire, and blood running from mouth werewolf. She won! She went as Sarah Palin!

I agree the photo is no big deal. Looks like an underwear advertisement. (I once knew a male model for the Sears Catalog and he shared with me that they encouraged the use of socks in other areas than the feet when modeling such articles.) But, I wonder why he just doesn’t say it is not him. I am left to believe that: it is not him and he thinks it is all a big joke, it is not him and he likes the attention, it is not him and he will enjoy giving all the details once he has them, or he did once take such a picture as a joke in his past and doesn’t know if someone got ahold of it. (however, he should remember the underwear he was wearing in the photo.) Or, for a male, it is a faltering photo and he doesn’t want to say it wasn’t him. Anyway, he doesn’t think he needs to say one way or another and that is his right. Even if it leaves the issue out there about the involvement of young ladies. However, if it were someone on the otherside, I probably would be questioning why he wouldn’t just say it wasn’t him. I think in that way, I can’t question others for having those same thoughts.

Yes, it use to be illegal to advertise liquor on TV or a woman actually wearing a bra or attornies advertising or children toys in the early hours on Saturdays. Times they have a’changin’. I don’t know the exact date it changed, tho.

John Stewart was pretty much on target on the Weiner matter. I loved when he said that the only thing the guy in the picture and Weiner had in common was that they both are strong leaning to the left. (I may not have the exact wording but that was the point) Looked to me like that guy had a cucumber in his pants. Hope it wasn’t one of those cucumbers from Spain…………

Kes, life is not fair and neither is our government at the present. I agree with the others that have told you this story needs to be heard. But, it should also be added that this case is Medicaid and if the Repucks get their way, this case will be repeated in Medicare. When will people wake up and realize that the people with the most care nothing about those with less. Being friends with them will not get you saved. They won’t be there when you are in need. The ones that will show up are the people that have feelings and they are the people that can relate to you when you are down. Not the ones that are riding high and want to get even higher (and I don’t mean on weed but on greed.)

Exactly. Huck’a’bee was smart enough to know not the time to run and he likes all the money he is getting now, too, for just spitting out facts that FOX stands by. She isn’t smart but I don’t think she is a dummy when it comes to getting money for nothin’.

I won’t disagree about her ego but she doesn’t like to work at governing. She quit her last job. She also doesn’t like personal attacks. She may want to be the first POTUS but she knows she won’t be. She likes being on the sidelines and spitting at other people. She still has a lot of skeltons in her closet. People are digging but nothing like they would if she was running for President. Also, I don’t think she would like to study enough of the issues to sound convincing in interviews, even with FOX. Besides, I really think people are tired of her. She is still a novelty and people might pay a few bucks to hear her but won’t vote for her. (Well, I hope they wouldn’t) But sometimes our fellow citizens like to wish the worst on us just to have something to laugh at and see how we handle something so far out and a first, even it is the worst that could happen to us.

jkkFL, that is a big problem for Romney in middle America and the Christian Right. His religion doesn’t mix with theirs. That is why Mormons ended up in Utah because middle America didn’t like them there. They still feel that way, I think.

I’m not surprised that the TeaParty would threaten the 16 yr old. They had to because they knew that the young girl would wipe the floor with Bachmann in a debate. Couldn’t have that, could they?
