Displaying 1,081 To 1,110 Of 1,384 Comments 2nd – I’ve been trying to keep each one at about 1,000 words. Seems about right to me. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 10:29 pm She’s lookin’ at me funny! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 10:27 pm Cher – Yes, there was a lot of rumbling before the election… hell, people knew for months and even a couple of years that the economy was going to tank, it was just a matter of WHEN. Somehow, between the election and the inauguration, everything went down the drain. Did it have to right THEN? Or was there a decision made to just let it go for political gain? I’m a suspicious SOB… and I believe in being paranoid when people are out to get you. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 10:00 pm jkk – Forewarned is forearmed! Or, as George the Lesser said, “Fool me once,…” » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 9:50 pm 2CCP – Welcome to my nightmare (re: the business series)! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 9:46 pm Cher – I want to jump in on this quickly… First, I said before that the crash’s timing was awfully suspicious. Think about this… how better to put a damper on any other agenda than the economy, including possible prosecutions or even just investigations? Second, even sans crash, what would be the meme 24/7???? “Payback for Clinton!” Third, from that point on, every single outgoing President would be investigated by the incoming President, assuming they are from the other party. A never-ending cycle. I personally think that the whole crew was treasonous and need to be lined up somewhere, but it ain’t gonna happen. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 9:41 pm Whew! I was sitting here counting levels and verifying what I said, and I was worried you were pissed. I kept looking at what I typed and saying “Shit, shit… ” » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 9:29 pm jkk – Did you get my reply downthread about levels and the REPLY button? My comment had nothing to do with content, it’s a limitation of the software. Hope you didn’t misunderstand! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 9:09 pm jkk – when there are more than 5 levels down from the original comment, i.e., six levels, the software won’t allow any more levels. At that point, the REPLY button is no longer allowed. We are at level 6. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 8:19 pm chase… Ok, then! I was thinking a mini-kielbasa, but, hey! 😈 » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 8:16 pm Ok, HH…. YOU ROCK! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 8:13 pm ☺☼♀♂♠♣♥♦ 👿 » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 7:52 pm jkk – This thread has hit bottom… once you get to so many levels down, you can’t go any more.. looks like 6 levels from the original comment is it. At that point, the Reply button is no longer there. As for Maggie… naw… she just hightails it for a minute. I only give her a spritz when she stands by the door and yowls and won’t stop. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 7:43 pm jkk – My ONLY effective weapon is a squirt bottle. I try not to use it too much, but she’s a stubborn little furball! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 7:13 pm Artist – I’ve always been a dog guy.. had four at one point when I was married. Maggie’s my first cat. I just couldn’t see an intelligent and active animal being cooped up in an apartment or inside her whole life. She’s a rescue cat, and when I get her home, I started with aharness just inside, and when she got used to that, we went outside just a few minutes at a time. It took maybe 3 months for me to trust her off-leash, but now she’s a pro. I also have peace of mind that if she DOES get away or get out, she’ll know her way home. Without this experience, the odds of that are small. I also think that it’s good for her mental health. She can just be a cat for a couple of hours a day. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 6:56 pm AdLib – got it. Thanks. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 6:50 pm Artist – Yes, I do. Actually, she’s so accustomed to walking with me (or me with her) that I only need to hook her up if she’s in an area that might be dangerous for her or she can get into places I can’t go, like thick woods. Other than that, we just meander around the apartment grounds (about 25 acres) together. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 6:30 pm LOL – I took her for a walk a little while ago, and she wants out again. [sigh] I spend my days arguing with a cat! And as for her own computer, let’s just say that I am her highway accross the room… from table across my chest to the other table to the window sill… As I type, half the time I have to wait for her to go by. She stops and talks to me. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:58 pm Dunno… I guess we’ll find out sooner or later… I’m not woried. LOL » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:54 pm Kali – Ok… but what’s it used for? » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:41 pm dey – for once I’m speechless. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:32 pm Crap! The Edit Comment is down again… I got that ass backwards! “Leave the gun, take the canolis!” » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:30 pm Yeppers. The Godfather… the I Ching of Life… it can answer any question… what to do? “Take the gun, leave the canolis!” » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:28 pm I see SOMEONE’s been busy again! What’s with the new toolbar? Only question is, what’s a “Shortlink”? » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:25 pm KB – the Senator in Godfather II that wants a kickback… I’m watching it, too! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:20 pm Khirad – HEY!!!! C’Mon now…. we all know that “trickle down” and “supply-side” works! I mean all those politicians wouldn’t lie to us, now would they? Sheeeesh! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:16 pm And the slimey Senator…. ewwwww! » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 5:11 pm Reply en route. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 3:25 pm @ALL: I took your advice and consolidated all the energy stuff into an article and posted it. It’s up now. Easier to read and digest. » Posted By PocketWatch On February 23, 2011 @ 3:15 pm Abby – YAY! Someone remembered!
