Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

Hello everyone. Mark was recently on PRI, was listening to him last night. I would like to help his efforts somehow.

Generation Hot. Sounds like an excellent book. Mark has a lovely daughter too and is very concerned about how climate change will impact her life as well as others.

“Scientists predict that the next fifty years will bring pretty serious climate change. While it’s difficult to imagine our world that far in the future, author Mark Hertsgaard, in his new book, Hot, perceives those threats as dangers to the well-being of his young daughter. Living on Earth’s Steve Curwood speaks with him about focusing the power of parents towards climate-action.”

Good! I see on the same website that bank closed their doors Thursday when a few protesters showed up. Protesting campaign contributions by bank executives to Gov. Scott Walker.

Good evening Kilgore. There are just to many of us. Reminds me of that little program in DOS that simulated a petri dish with bacteria colonies. They pop up in different areas of the petri dish, flourish then eventually die in their own waste.
