Friday Music Thread – Friends and Lovers

I like the sentiment at the very beginning.

My poem for two lovers…one ran out of time.

Sleep Dance

in moon drenched dreams
I came back to you
to conjure you
I weaved my schemes

we danced and loved
and didn’t we do
till dawn we stretched
loves web with dew

and frolicked in woods
and didn’t we do
‘twixt moss and fern
we held love true

come back sweet muse
thru silvered mist
let the forest entangle
our nightly tryst

Kilgore – working on a hunch that you may have been familiar with some of Richard Brautigan’s poetry and writings. One strange dude.

Adonai – enjoyed your article.

Good evening Abby. First time it played, some friends of mine in Seattle drug me to it. Had no idea what I was in for. 😉

Some worship sky gods. Some worship dirt gods. So many gods, so little time. Think I’ll go worship the cabbages in my garden again this Fall.

» Posted By Orcas Island On February 25, 2011 @ 4:30 pm

Great stuff. I think that was Ginger Baker in the intro, maybe the lead singer from The Turtles and of course Ringo.

Sam Elliot. Sorry, off fixing dinner. Back in the saddle again.

I have a sister in Woodinville near Redmond. Know the area well and many of the little towns throughout the state.
