Morning Blog — 11-20-2014

Good day Kalima, I have to work on my roof (snow removal) and my taxes. So I’ll just mention the herd of cats in the story. I am , as you know an animal lover and cats hold a special place in my heart. They do what they want, when they want.

Kalima, I am proud that President Obama is persuing a diplomatic solution rather than going to WAR against another ME country. Netyanyahu is “hawkish” and wants us to shead our blood for his ill thought wishes. I hope that on March 17 he is defeated in his election.

Diplomacy is far prefered over war.

Good day Kalima.
It almost seems like the world needs a common enemy like the movie “Independance Day”. Maybe then we would all come together and help one another.

There is too much real news on the MB to comment on all of it.
Netanyahu is way out of control and out of touch with reality. Talk about being a “hawk”, he wants another war, this one with Iran.

Again Kalima, thanks for all this information. MB is a great resourse. I return several times to read different stories.

Good day Kalima, I’m enjoying my coffee in my MB mug, thanks.
The 3 “Jihadi brides” are too young to understand what a life they are in for.

There is no way I would live in a country that treats women as poorly as those in the story. America is still not up to where I want it to be when treating women as equals. Women should be treated with respect. Paid the same as men for the work they do.

The snow in the ME was interesting. They don’t usually get that kind of weather, do they?

As always the photos of the animals are proof that Mother Nature is very clever. All the pictures tell stories that mere words can’t.

Thanks for Morning Blog, Kalima. It is always a pleasure to have my coffee and check out these real news stories.

Kalima, I agree that it is good and necessary to have the real “news” that you bring us on MB. I also think that your including the photos of animals and nature helps to lighten the heavy load of sadness that so many stories are.

Good day Kalima, I love the copy cat vid!
There is so much strife in the world. We didn’t used to get all this news before. Now with the W W Web, so we notice all the things that the main stream media never showed us.
MB, thanks to you Kalima, shows stories from all parts of the world. Sometimes it is overwelming to see all the sad and scary stories. Then I look at the photos of the animals and I feel better. The tiger hugging the dog touched my heart. All the photos are good at telling the stories.

Kalima, first, don’t apologize. I know how you feel. I was out of action for a while, just got off the roof again. Have to take some of the weight off because we have had a lot of snow.

Second, thanks for all the news stories. So much to read and I’ll get to it sooner or later. I do want to mention the nuclear plants in Japan and Vermont Yankee. Entergy is using the decommissioning fund to their advantage. Arnie Gunderson was talking this morning about both of these plants. Over there he says the fish that feed on crustations are getting Strontium and if children eat that fish it will get into their teeth and bones. Same here with local fish that may eat snails. Neither country is dealing with these problems with any real concern.

Kalima, I just read the story about the “common cold”. I hope they do find a cure for the “cold” It kicked my butt. Wouldn’t be nice to never have the sniffles or a cough again?

Like Kes, I liked the good news story about the man who walked 21 miles round trip to work.

Thanks for bringing all the stories and photos, too. Those pics tell stories without using a lot of words.

Kalima, sorry I am late. Been busy taking care of snow that got ahead of me when I was ill. Had to get some of the weight off the roof. Now my wife and I are on the way to visit our daughter for her birthday. We are about a week late on that too. My wife got worn out taking care of me.

Enough excuses. I’ll come back later and comment, honest.

Kalima, that is proof that ISIS is NOT trustworthy. ISIS is just as bad as the Nazis were. They may not have killed 6 million yet but they are horrable none the leas.

I have to wonder if the world will have to come together to defeat ISIS once and for all.

Hi Kalima, sorry I’m a day late. Under the weather with a bad cold. Can’t remember the last time I was sick. This cold has me to my knees. Only looked at the pics today and will return tomorrow to comment on the other stories.

As always the photos are telling stories. I liked the horse with the cat in the saddle. Two of my favorite animals. I had 4 Morgan fillies for 4 years. and we have 4 indoor cats and a couple neighbors cats that come around.

I’m back after reading some more of the stories. Watched the baby laughing again and it never gets old. Saw the pictures of the animals. The wallaby just about broke my heart as well as the squirrel and the dog. All the animals are fun to see and they give so much pleasure.

I agree nobody wants to see Romney run again but he probably will. And lose again, too!

Oh the 20 year anniversery of the Kobe quake is a reminder that bad things happen any time.

Kalima, that beautiful baby laughing at ripping paper is the best thing I’v seen in a long time! Made me chuckle.

I saw a piece on the TV this morning about Pope Francis in the Phillipines in the rain, among the people. He is truly a man of and for the people. No matter what your religion you have to respect the Pope.

I’ll come back to read more stories and check the pics, too, later. Got to get another cup of coffee, first.

I’m so proud of you for thinking the way you do. You went to college and I don’t remember any incidents of rape while you were there. I can’t understand how people can be that inconciderate of another human being.

1 in 3 college men would rape if they thought they could get away with it? What is the college teaching them????
No real man would rape a woman !
I have never even considered rape ! Rape is violent and in my opinion it is a crime that should NOT have a statute of limitations. Women deserve better than that. Women should report guys who rape and help the prosicuters.

Yes the terrorists will come to justice. The younger one a cousin turned himself in to the police last night. This one reminds me of the Boston marathon bombing. They will be caught. They may be killed in the effort to find and aprehend them, who knows?
