Good day Kalima, sorry for your mother-in-law. She sounds like a strong woman. Where do I start? There are so many stories.

I am waiting for the list that anonymous is posting. I saw the short list early this week that your story said was not real. That list had a few republican congressmen on it. I dare not repost it because it may be wrong.

Bernie is doing his job as Senator and campaigning as well. He has introduced a couple bills and made 96% of the votes! Rubio on the other hand has missed a full 50% of the Senate votes. I see a difference in the integrity of them. Bernie has it and Rubio, not so much.

Was it Nixon? He was a crook.

The pictures of the immigrants are interesting, huh? They look different than their decendants do today. I have seen a picture of my great grandfather and he was bearded like I am today. I have had my beard since I returned home from Vietnam 45 years ago.

Bernie is doing a lot , not just campaigning. Your story about decriminalizing pot is one thing and another is trying to get Social Security folks a cola raise next year. We don’t get one this time because the price of gas has kept inflation down? Everything else is up but gas. We don’t drive as much as we used to but our meds have climbed in price. Guess I better be quiet or big brother might get me.

Good day Kalima, thanks for the stories about Bernie, I enjoyed them. Bernie has integrity and it showed in refusing to take money from the drug guy who raised the price 5000%! I wonder if any other candidate would refuse the money?

The pictures as always tell stories. Thanks for them.

I have no idea what a dracula sneeze is, look forward to the answer.

Glad for you that the weather has cooled there. It is much better here,too. The hot humid weather drains my energy and makes me uncomfortable.

Thanks for the great Bernie story, I bookmarked it to use later. You are right that Jeb should get out. Nobody wants another bush!

Don’t worry about eating this MB because Trump will NOT win.

I predict a landslide victory for Bernie!

Kalima, I will only comment on the Pope and his trip to Congress. In my opinion Pope Francis is the best Pope in my 69 years. He showed his greatness when talking to Congress. Climate change is a concern of his for the same reasons it is for me. I want my grandchildren and their kids to live in a good environment. It wassaid that he made most of the Congress uncomfortable with his talk. That in itself is good.

I believe that Bernie Sanders lines up with Pope Francis better than any other candidate.

Hi Kalima, glad to get all this news . I love the baby owl dancing!

With all the immigrants from Syria flooding into Europe, I worry that some of the bad guys are infiltrating and will try to insite riots. I think most of them are just trying to find a safe place to live in peace. I would like to have some of them (vetted) come here.

The GOP debates are just entertainment. They don’t discuss issues at all. They do disgust me.

Bernie Sanders, as you know, is my choice for President. I really feel that he will win the nomination and go on to a landslide victory in the general election. Once he wins the nomination, I don’t see anyone who can come close to beating him.

Thanks for the stories about Bernie, btw.

Hello Kalima, our heat wave just ended yesterday. I hope your does soon.

Thanks for including the stories about Bernie. To me he is the best candidate for President. He is doing it the way it should be done, setting a good example for the future politicians. I believe he is making a point about money in politics. If people who vote will think about what Bernie says and then vote accordingly he can win.

I read your piece on the POW from the A-bomb trying to get the US to treat him. It reminds me of the way some veterans are treated here. It saddens me.

Hi Kalima, this day in history should have taught us to us that peace is the prefered way of life. I fear that the lesson has been ignored by too many. I , like you have learned that lesson. Lets spread peace.

The article about Bernie is pretty good. I had not seen it before. Thanks for including Bernie in the MB postings. I may be wrong, but I feel that you include a Bernie story for me. Thanks.

As always the photos are great. The photo of the lanterns for peace is my favorite.

We are in the middle of a heat wave here in Vermont.

Last night Bernie used the internet to reach over 100,000 people. The power we have with social networking is incredible!

Gotta get back to my writing about Bernie and getting others involved.

Hi Kalima, thanks for the Bernie story.
I hope the storm doesn’t linger when it does get to your part of the world. Climate change is a real thing, even if the “conservatives” deny it.

I went to the VA Monday for a check on my diabetes (agent orange). Will be a while before I hear if the benefits will increase. It is getting worse.

Kalima, I looked at the pictures and again they tell a story. The poor do seem to find a way to enjoy life.

Hello Kalima, there is so much news all around the world. Thank you for bringing it to MB so we can keep up with what is happening elsewhere.

Nuclear safety is very important and the people of Japan have suffered more than most from nuclear mishaps. My heart aches for those people.

Peace is within reach with the agreement between Iran and the 8 other countries. I’m certain it will go through, as the President has promised to veto any republican lead attempt to deny the agreement. Gotta love the President.

The GOP = Greedy One Percent

I am busy doing all I can to help Senator Bernie Sanders. I have meat him several times here in Vermont and know him to be a good man who cares about the people.

Please take care and be safe, Kalima. We can manage a few days without you but we don’t want to lose you from heat exhaustion.

Pope Francis just amazes me! I have more respect for him than any other Pope in my 69 years. Bernie seems to also care about the same things that the Pope does. That can’t be a bad thing, can it?

I spent Friday at my brothers camp a mile from the Canada US border. Had family from FL, VT, DEL, and Australia there and it was a wonderful day! Saturday I saw them again at a cookout at my nephews house in Barre, VT. Family is so important to me. Two of my nephews are police and they both think that there are some bad cops but not many. They also think body cams are a good thing! I am proud of both, Ian is a constable in Australia and Jon is an officer in Barre.

Kalima, you need not apologize. We are all busy with our own tasks, some more pleasent than yours. I am going to drive 1.5 hours to my younger brothers camp and see family from Austrailia, and Florida and here in Vt. So don’t have time to do much writing or reading. I hope all goes well with you! Hi Kalima, thanks for the link, I had not seen that one. Being from Vermont with many hunters and most people have a gun, Bernie has always been kind of neutral about guns. He thinks gun laws that are already on the books should be enforced. I agree. There are lots of gun laws and if they were enforced we wouldn’t have so many bad actors with a gun.

Hello again Kalima, thanks for the story about Bernie Sanders, the interview say a lot about my choice for President. Bernie makes sense!
Trump, on the other hand is just noise. Loud noise.
I have been writing a lot on the net about Bernie lately. Yesterday I wrote to CBS,ABC,and CNN and told them , shame on you for not reporting on the campaign of Bernie Sanders! You reported on a campaign rally for Santorum with a crowd of one, but Bernie had 5500 people in Colorado. I asked them if their corporate owners were afraid of Bernie? I got zero response from them.

Good day Kalima, again thanks for all the stories. It takes me a few days to get to most of them. I spend a lot of my computer time working for Bernie Sanders election. I am an unpaid unknown (by Bernie campaign) advocate on the internet.
The SC church shooting is awful! Why people hate is beyond me.

I always check what is happening here at the Planet and MB.

Good day Kalima, the weather is nice here this morning, rain overnight cleared the humidity.
Those escapees will probably head south. I doubt they would come to Vermont with such a small population. We’ll see.
President Obama has sent more Americans to Iraq to train the Iraqis. We have been training them for a dozen years already! I’m tired of this spending American lives and treasure to train them. It took six weeks of basic training and six weeks advanced training for us to go to Vietnam. The Iraqis don’t want to fight ISIS, so they want us there?
I don’t hate , but if I did bush and cheney would be the targets of my hate. We never should have invaded Iraq!

Sorry for the rant.

Kalima, thanks for the video of kindness. It shows that there are still some good thoughtful people and greatful animals. I love an uplifting story.

Cruz is crude. Enough said on him. Santorum “I’m not a scientist” has no place telling Pope Francis (both a scientist and Pope) what to say about climate change. BTW, I love the Pope!

Bernie Sanders makes a good case for more debates. How else can we get to know where each candidate stands on the issues? Bernie is not attacking Hillary, just asking where she stands on this or that.

Good day Kalima, so much to read! I’ll start with the GOP candidates with their silly ideas. There is not one of them that makes anysense at all! If they actually believe what they say, I fear for their souls.
Bernie on the other hand has wonderful ideas to help people.

What is happening in Iraq today might not have happened if “w” and cheney had not invaded Iraq. It all goes back to that stupid invasion.

Last for now, I don’t know why the bank CEOs are not doing jail time? They pled guilty to felonies! They should have to serve time and make restitution!

Good day Kalima, I think people here in the USA are underestimating Bernie Sanders. My FB page has many posts about Bernie and thousands of “likes” and really good comments. There are red states organized for Bernie like Montana and Georgia. There are organizations like Veterans for Bernie, Sanders/ Warren 2016 for Bernie, Robinhood tax USA, Teachers for Bernie,Women for Bernie Sanders 2016, and many others. A grass roots campaign may take a while to get out front of the money guys and gals, but it is happening.

President Obama has only disappointed me once, that is the TPP. Otherwise he has done a steller job against all odds, in my opinion.
