I’m in Vermont and I’m an old farmer/telephone lineman/substitute teacher/ soldier. Got up early all my life. Go to bed earlyish.9-10 sometimes later.

Here is another random thought. The mega millions jackpot was won by two people, one in Cal. and one in Georgia.
No, I don’t play the game. I look at the odds and say it is a voluntary tax that I choose not to pay.

Yup, they are on different continents. However Germany is further North than Vermont. Therefore Germany gets less sunlight than Vermont. If they can make plenty of solar power we can too.

I like to give credit to those who deserve it.
John Boehner deserves credit for speaking up in an interview the other day. He said the republicans who oppose the budget didn’t even know what was in it. Had not read it , just opposed it because they oppose everything.

Not that I like him but he finally said something reasonable. I guess a broken clock is right twice a day.

Ad, I too like the President but he can be wrong on some issues and this is one I disagree with him on. There are not many but spying on all Americans indiscriminately is wrong.

PW, I agree. Solar is another way to stop the pollution. I have an array that makes 120% of my electricity. Due to net metering the extra 20% goes into the grid. I get a credit for the extra in case I use more power on a cloudy month. I live in Central Vermont which is South of Germany which makes more solar power than any other country. I figure if they can do it I can.

SP, this subject is near and dear to my heart. We need to take action and stop the pollution! Our environment needs us to care. Our children and grandchildren will be better off if we do.

Agrippa, I find it funny that they say we progressives and democrats do the very things they do, but deny. They say we are against creating jobs? They are the people who are stifling job growth not us. They lie about everything and I for one am fed up with their lies.

SP, I went out of the house once and started the car then got out to clear snow off the windows and hood. Guess what happened? If you guessed that the car door locked all by itself. I had to knock on the door of the house and get my wife to give me her key. Took her a while to find it as she has never driven and doesn’t keep it with her house key.

So if there is a wizard or witch that does that kind of trick, please put a good word in for me, too.

!3 inches and still falling. Got the steps don driveway done and cleaned the snow off the solar array. Blew paths to the array and around the house to the bird feeder and the game camera.

Can we post pictures here? If so How? Got lots of photos of deer in my yard.

Smot, we need to band together to beat back the hordes. We all care about some progressive idea more than another but if we all vote the same way we will get the better candidate elected and advance all our ideas.
