Between Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, and New Years Eve we have several holidays for several ethnic groups. So we don’t exclude some people we say Happy Holidays. If you are with Christians Merry Christmas works, Talking to Jews Happy Hanukkah , in an African American neighborhood Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy New Year works for all. I think the people who make a big deal about “Happy Holidays” as a greeting are selfish. They are not thinking about all the other groups of people who have a holiday to celebrate this time of year. My feeling is that she never should have been in danger while at school. Something has to be done to keep kids safe in the school where they spend so much of their time. Parents need to identify mental illness in their kids and get them help. I was born Catholic but the Catholic Church is too fancy for me. I believe in Jesus but not everything the bible says verbatim. Since the Bible was written by man and interpreted and rewritten several times by man (fallible according to the Bible). I prefer to be outside in the woods around my house. I talk to God there. Thank him or Mother Nature for all the trees, animals, and good things. I try to care for the land. I care about my neighbors, family, and fellow citizens. However you pray or whatever you believe is your choice and I refuse to tell you you’re wrong. As long as you and I do no harm to our fellow man/woman and even help people less fortunate than we are I’m happy with you. Faith is fine with me. Having no religion is fine if that is how you feel. Being gay, straight, black, white, or any other thing that makes you different is not a problem for me. I accept you as you are and hope you accept me as I am.
