He retired the year I was drafted 1967 as First Sargent. Dad was in WWII beginning to end and the Korean War as well. I remember when we lived in Virginia, Dad was stationed in Camp Picket and we lived in Farmville, he tried to get me to smoke and I tried but choked and gagged.
If so , I think that many if not all of the Republican and some Democrats have not lived up to that oath. In fact some have become enemies of the country by their actions and words. They swore an oath to defend this country against enemies both foreign and domestic. They themselves are domestic and subverting this country.
Citizens United! The SP justices helped subvert the US by giving person hood to corporations even though they are multinational (many countries) corporations. I believe it is illegal for foreign countries to bribe our Senators and Congressmen/women. So isn’t giving money to a Congressman/woman for their votes on certain Bills a bribe?
