2012 South Carolina GOP Primary Thread

The 6th Fleet was active in the Gulf at the Strait of Hormuz….that was considered a sufficient showing of the flag. The Iranians cut their drills from 6 days to 2. That was considered enough….anything else would be provocation.

Imagine this man in the oval office.

This is puerile mental masturbation.

Shrink the DC bureaucracy which he was at the heart of.

Easy to balance the budget when the economy is booming, there are no wars, and the tax rates is at 35 pecent.

Speaking of Despicable….this pasty faced troll summons every lie about Obama as sacred truth.

Newt….you are one of the elites. You live a one percenter life based on donations from people who actually work for a living.

He is running an AMERICAN Campaign vs. a KENYAN ANTI-COLONIAL SOCIALIST Campaign

Reaching out to to the other campaigns to JOIN HIM….

He just pushed Romney into a also-ran position.

David Axelrod tweeted: “If you & SuperPac spend $4.7m, and get zero delegates, how much did you spend per delegate?”

Hello, Mr. Romney.

Not me. I think he brings it on challenging Mitt using his self professed warrior status as the ONE who can stand against the OTHER ONE.

Great info. Let’s share that far and wide.

Santorum says he suppots

Faith, Family, Freedom

because no one else does it as well as he does?

Obama is certainly on the record as being opposed to all three of those.

NOTE: HIS SONS ARE ALL WEARING THE SAME UNIFORM. – THE MODEL FOR THE NEW NATIONAL DRESS CODE…..

Santorum for VP as the Blue Collar and Relgious Right Guy who could be paired with Mitt or New.

KES….Not sure if the GOP will report it. There were signs in all the polling places stating who was no longer on the ballot and noting that they were no longer eligible for the ballet and that write ins were not allowed.

You mean that little farm in PA where the first blows for liberty against radical Islam were struck.?

Word from Florida…

Jeb Bush endorsing Romney.

Per CNN

» Posted By MurphTheSurf3 On January 21, 2012 @ 5:47 pm

Like that idea a lot.

» Posted By MurphTheSurf3 On January 21, 2012 @ 5:40 pm

Early word was that Santorum would not speak, on to Florida or out of the race.

Nope….late word….he is declaring himself a “mission candidate” as it appears he may well finish ahead of Paul….

Two conservative values group (Dobson, and Family Reseaarch Council) are pledging member support to him. So….here he is.

I do not think FOI covers privileged matter in Congressional ethics hearings. As always, Congress exempts itself from so many laws. Others here might know better than I.

» Posted By MurphTheSurf3 On January 21, 2012 @ 5:35 pm

That is how I read it. Really bad staffing.

» Posted By MurphTheSurf3 On January 21, 2012 @ 5:33 pm

Word is….no speech…on to Florida.

Romney Staff Sends Cake To Newt Gingrich

A “tongue-in-cheek” cake to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Gingrich’s House Ethics censure.

The blue and white icing on the sheet cake reads “Happy 15th Anniversary Mr. Speaker! Now show us the records…”

Here is a pic from Greta Van Susteren at http://gretawire.foxnewsinsider.com/2012/01/21/this-is-the-cake-delivered-to-gingrich-headquarters-by-romney-campaign/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxnewsinsider%2Fgretawire+%28Gretawire%29

Romney has called for Gingrich to release more than a million pages of documents pertaining to allegations of unethical conduct over nearly a decade in the House. The Ethics Committee released a statement on its findings in 1995 which is available online. Romney has called for Gingrich to release all the accompanying evidence against him, not just the committee report.

Gingrich will bring in more than 100 percent. Elementary. Don’t doubt Newt or he will yell at you.

» Posted By MurphTheSurf3 On January 21, 2012 @ 5:17 pm

Correction:

I wrote:Final margin will be 4 to 7 percent Gingrich over Romney.Paul third. Santorum fourth (and the word is, out of the contest)

My SC friends caught an error in their numbers, a big one. Final Margin 14 to 17 percent. Big Difference.

The speech……some hints of new themes…..No Haley. Bleachers PLUS imported cheerleaders. Only one son in the background. Mostly boiler plate. BUT, the one thing missing….Romney the job maker hardly even there…..accusing Gingrich as an agent for a leftist agenda?????…..

» Posted By MurphTheSurf3 On January 21, 2012 @ 5:11 pm

Ad Lib…..word from my friends in the Palmetto State.

1) Final margin will be 4 to 7 percent Gingrich over Romney.Paul third. Santorum fourth (and the word is, out of the contest)

2) The Romney loss pushes him further right which apparently includes adding three big profile TP campaign consultants to his staff.

3) The turnouts will show that the moderate GOP areas did not turn out.

4) Turnout will be less than they are trumpeting.

5) Romney laid low all day, two morning appearances, did his laundry, went to a movie, met with his core staff about spinning into Florida.

6) The venue tonight is actually up one step from where it was set earlier in the day. They went with a larger balloom so they could have bleachers (makes the crowd look bigger).

7) Romney’s ground game was good, but Nikki Haley was unable to push the state organization’s troops to lend a hand. This is seen as a huge Haley embarrassment.

8) The concession speech was written by a new team of writers for tonight.

LIVE BLOG – GOP Debate at 5:00 PM PST in SC – 1/19

NITE ALL.

I campaigned for Barack in South Carolina in 2008. I recognize that crowd. South Carolinians have been embarrassed for three years that their state proved that Obama was an acceptable Southern candidate. Most, in that state assumed Edwards would take the state.

Gingrich: This is the “most dangerous president of our lifetime”

IF GINGRICH GETS INTO THE OVAL OFFICE, HIS NONSENSE ABOUT OBAMA WILL BE PROPHECY ABOUT HIMSELF.
