Well your coach is what I thought I had to do. I get to the profile page from a different route but end up on the same page.

And Yep. Both boxes are clicked.

How do I check my notifications? All of a sudden I am not getting alerts re. replies, new articles etc.

I can’t find the link that takes me to the notifications page but I know I have seen it at some time.

Dear Administrators…

I would like to do an update to the Grocer story. Had a meeting with the owner and there have been some interesting developments. Since there were a number of comments with a number of people I wonder…..

Is it possible to insert an update in my original post and repbublish it as “new”? It is somewhat substantial and many asked to be informed. I think it could be illustrative of several trends.

Hey there….just curious….why is the 2016 story just published not featured on the Home Page as usual. It is listed on the far right colunm but that’s it.

Did I miss a step?

Found the trouble. Kalima’s approval post went into my spam folder at Yahoo. So did the notification of the publication. So somehow The Planet’s address was now being read as Spam. I restored my preferences to designate Planet addresses as “trusted.” That should do it.

Bito…I think I may have gotten it back into visual…disabled the plug ins, cleared the cache, and it’s back.

I have seen the images of George and Mitt together. I just cannot find one.

Well…Duh…..I did a search on Vox and it showed the previous weeks (the 11th, the 4th etc.) Never occurred to me to go to the Live events…cause it wasn’t live. Hah!

Greetings AdLib….now you are messing with my head.

Seriously, I just left a note for Kalima….the last two times I published something weird happened and she could not move forward in editing/publishing because she was getting a message that I was still editing even though I had submitted it for review. I figured out I had to log out entirely for the submission to take completely.

I did that this time but when I heard nothing I thought I blew it again…or my server did a weird glitch.

Appreciate your help as always.

Hello Kalima…I never know how to greet you time-wise….since you live so far outside my time zone. So happy day (or night!). Appreciate the link. My concern was that my article might have locked up the way the last two did. I actually went to extra effort to log out this time around but when I did not get a response from either you or AdLIb, I wondered if I had messed it up again! I am always aware that there is something on my end that keeps me from having access to all the features on publishing page so I am wary.

As always, appreciate the patience and the guidance.

Did you all get a notice that I have an a article pending? I sent it along five or so hours ago. You all usually acknowledge you got it rather quickly. Since I have had some trouble in sending an article along the last two times, I thought I should alert you.

What is odd is that this is another one of those “only at PlanetPOV” things. First time it happened. I wonder if this is a WordPress issue?

Are you aware that if you try to get to the Planet from a Browser, clicking the main link (the home link) puts you into connection limbo. Clicking the Home link at the top of a PlanetPOV page (below the logo) -same problem. I sent you all an e mail at admin@planetpov.com Would not deliver. Message for the return said “No MX or A records for planetpov.com”

If you click on one of the sub links on a browser (like Ladies and Gents) you are taken to that page, or click on any of the other links to the right of “Home”, or click a story address from e mail AND you connect.

Good Morning to you then….get to it as you can. The document will not be published anywhere else but it is already being read by organizers of the movement. In this PlanetPOV has done a great service to the movement.

One thing more: I think I need to get used to doing work-arounds whenever I run into something like this. I cannot get into the visual mode. I have taken this to the WordPress trouble desk and they are puzzled. I sent them screen shots of the page as it appears and they do not have an answer. They have promised to get back to me.

In the meantime, thanks for your service.

Hi….Although it says “draft” the Save Draft button is missing…..Given the weirdness of my post page from past experience…I cut out some steps and just reposted the article as a new effort. It seems simpler.
