The mind-twisted Repubs. have a way of ignoring the most blatant signs of where the responsibility lies – & OF COURSE the responsibility lies with the (foreign) owners !!
BUT, Pres. Obama needs to hammer at this NOW &, using his great oratory skills, drive the point home that THEY need to undo the damage, otherwise, week by week, suffer severe penalties.
They can’t have it both ways : reaping the rewards of such a lucrative business, without shouldering the onus when the equipment fails –

As for Rand, that’s a whole other story : Rand is struggling (transparently) with WHO & WHAT to align himself with, in the Repub. party –
He was virtually squirming with malaise on Maddow’s show, trying to figure out (in his responses to Maddow) who the hell he was supposed to be pandering to –
Another GOP, willing & able to sell his soul for a spot on the ballot – ugh & arrgh –

I loved that video, saw it last week ….
It’s amazing how the connection between humans & non- can be so comfortable, depending on the comfort the human brings to the dynamic.
I recently moved to a peaceful new place, only problem was that the dog next door kept yapping in a (Palinesque) shrill, ear-piercing way every time I’d come in or go out my door.
I’ve spoken to it very softly each time, saying ‘good boy, it’s okay, shhhh’ – now, it’s one quick yap to let me know he knows I’m there & it’s peaceful –
Calm tones can work wonders ….

I do like it here & the pace suits me these days to a T –
I can look in when I’m busy (busy season right now) & read quick tidbits of discussions & learn a thing or two, even 😉

O/T – I’m about to take “the test” you posted KQ 😉 – although I already know I’m biased : usually toward the darker toned & ‘other’-cultured ….
Dunno why really, maybe I’m bored stiff with white toasts (like moi) everywhere I’d look –
I used to live in a mostly ‘1-culture’ area – def. am drawn to cultural diversity –

I’ve caught myself veering in the wrong direction – as Nellie very aptly put the other day : some people experience glee over their hatred of the far Right –
Never using the word (when explaining one’s own feelings) is def. the key.
In blogging, I’ve had to click “off” when I’ve seen posts with anything worse than wry humor over the antics of Sarah, the Teabaggers & the like.
It’s just not a good use of our time to ‘be with that’ ….
The people that get it, I find most refreshing 😉

Beautiful Kalima –
My thinking is that we can all do something, even if it’s minor, to manifest love for the ‘world co-op’ that we are part of. My activity (what I can do) is village-sized, not of huge impact, but I believe it takes action of any significance to make a small dent in the global picture.

We can either have minor heart attacks at the outrage over some of the basest GOP stances & behavior, or, like Billionaires for Wealthcare, laugh our message –
Can make more of an impact to just laugh at the idiocy IMO & it serves to diffuse them a lot more effectively than angry rhetoric – ….
